Ideal for Automation Hurco VMX30UDi 5 axis machining centre with 60 station automatic toolchanger

The 248mm diameter rotary-tilt table fitted to the VMX30UDi is ideal for one-offs and higher volume production of small to medium sized components. That's why it lends itself so easily to automation. Many of these machines are sold with either a Hurco ProCobot ProFeeder, or an Erowa Robot Compact 80. 5 axis parts generally need more tools, hence the addition of a 60 station toolchanger, which becomes particularly useful when several 5 axis jobs are automated.
The Ui models offer easy transition from 3 axis machining. Using Hurco’s unique “transform plane” conversational programming, 5 sided work can
be programmed without the huge investment and learning required
with a CAD/CAM system. A range of purpose built, structurally rigid
machines cover a variety of capacity and table sizes.
Choose the Ui, UDi, or UHSi model variation depending upon your
needs. Most popular is the 12,000 rpm, high torque VMXUi range for
all general purpose work, however the 15,000RPM UDi range with
in-line spindle offers performance advantages for high RPM, high
feed-rate work, improving surface finish and thermal stability. These
benefits can be taken a step further with the 20,000RPM motorised
HSK63A Setco spindle on the UHSi range.
