i always respect instructors who allow this to be filmed and put online, it's already a nerve racking situation to be in. Good lesson so far, i would say that maybe a few of the questions have been a little too open though.
This is a perfect video Howard showing how a Pdi can demonstrate the competencies in a practical way on the part 3 test or standards check…just way at I’ve been wanting, many thanks
In the 2min briefing she didn't talk about implications FISH dangers of hesitating at roundabouts, do we not need to always talk about the dangers of the fault in the beginning of the part 3 briefing?
7 minute brief like u said is too long. Thank you for adding that in the video, but when you were pulled over on the side of the road for 3 minutes, is that ok? As i thought that would have been too long as well? Really good video to watch though, thank you.
if you guys think she is doing great then you must have big issues. she is worst than me on my first PDI lesson. asking if the learner wants any help, and then she is not asking on what part of the roundabout he needs help. you want me to talk you through , to prompt you , or independent ? because its client centered we must give all the possible options. asking the learner if he needs help, and then she is leaving him loose.

Very helpful thank you ❤
Do you think an eye mirror would be an ideal tool?
Yes sure, I personally don’t use one, just prefer to look at pupil.
Very little discussion of responsibility for risk. Something I got marked down for on on my pt3.

Checking the pupils understanding of risk of hesitation would have been good to include
Should you talk about directions on the briefings

Howard after rewinding the video i can confirm you did do the checks before you signalled in the beginning
