I'm very sure most passengers do not how to use the hammer nor where to hit. Most importantly what to expect after breaking the bus window. Even after shattering, the pieces do not fall off easily and takes a while to "clean up" the area to prevent cuts while exiting. In reality, passengers will not be so calm to wait when there's smoke n fire in the bus. Can suggest Passengers can use jacket or other thick material to cover the lower part of the window frame which they will likely come into contact with, and exit frm the center while avoiding touching the sides and top of the window frame. By the way, can demo how to jump frm double decker? :0 This is a must watch video! It can save lives.
Honestly i just watched this purely because when i am on the bus, i have an urge to smash windows with that hammer.

They should make all buses with a button that automatic opens all windows upward, that way everybody can get out at the same time.
