I've been running the tsp med comp head, ecu remap and idle mod for 2 years now and it changed my 2020 300 into a beats. Love it! They are just releasing their tpi/tbi relocation kits now so can't wait to do that mod. Great vids thanks.

Put tsp and med compression on mine when I did my first top end. Completely changed the bike for the better. Worth every penny.

My dad has some of those footpegs that are 5mm down and 5mm back and I gotta say, it’s really nice when I’ve taken his bike through the woods when it comes to gripping with the knees

An easy way of installing a foot peg spring,you compress the spring and zip tie it compressed, after that you just place it, slide the pin in and cut the zip tie ;D

Hi Rob, sea you at sea to sky. Love the channel, cant wait for the sea to sky going to be an adventure. I use the medium head from tsp awsome bit of kit runs so smooth. I'm riding my 300 tpi at sea to sky 2018 but loads of mods, I'll keep an eye out for you, I'm going on my own so going solo.
I ride the S3 Extreme head on mi 2020 250 EXC and it is AWESOME !!

I noticed you guys put the foot peg pin in from the bottom, if the cotter pin breaks the pin will fall out and your foot peg will fall off. Don’t ask me how I know, it didn’t happen to me while skimming through a whoop section 4th gear on a RM250. 😳

It's funny, you ride around just lugging the bike - almost *exactly the same* as I do. I usually just cruise like that in about 3rd gear; putting along.

Low compression head, does that that give more top end rather than bottom? I'd have thought a high compression head would provide more bottom. Maybe it's to do with combustion chamber shape and the width and depth of squish bands on the new head but like I said I always thought the general rule was more compression equals better bottom end.
Just the opposite, lower compression head gives you more bottom, torque and traction in a hard situations.
Higher compression head is more likely for MX.

Howdy, I own a 2021 KTM 300XCW. I raced MX as a kid and ended up in the 250 expert class. So, I know pretty much how to ride a dirt bike. My bike straight from the dealer wants to stall when I am riding and try to do a simple 180 deg. turn with zero throttle. I have adjusted it per the manual to no avail. I saw a bunch of videos (yes, TH-cam is awesome for dirt bikers) about removing the idle set screw and adding one that can be adjusted. I have done that…quite easy actually and it improved slightly. Not where I want it to be. I have read articles that state: no two engines are the same, from the factory and what one person does might not work for another. I get that. My question of you is this: did your upgrade alleviate the boggy low end torque and enable a rider to get the front wheel off the ground without twisting the throttle (trying to get over a fallen tree? It seems that this is kinda what you were shooting for, right? Have asked in different forums and can’t get a definitive answer. If your kit was for that purpose, I need to get it. Thanks 🤙🤙🤙
Hey buddy. The upgrade makes the bike run as it should. No spluttering and increasing power and throttle response. You basically tell them what type of riding you do and they will give you the right spec. I went for a low compression remap and head so it a lot more torquey but you can get medium or high compression also
