My personal favorite JDM cars in GT6: 10. Subaru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STI spec C Type RA '05 9. Honda S2000 '06 8. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GSR '05 7. Nismo Skyline GT-R S-tune (R32) '00 6. Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD) '02 5. Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package '12 4. Honda NSX Type-R '02 3. Nissan SKYLINE GT-R V-Spec II Nur (R34) '02 2. Toyota SUPRA RZ '97 1. Nissan GT-R NISMO '14 Like this if your favorite JDM car is listed!
My favorite JDM cars are the Subaru Impreza '99 (all versions of it) and the Honda NSX Type S Zero '97. :D The best JDM car I think is the Honda NSX Type R.
I had a Supra mk 4 that went around 360 mph with a tune I was messing around with and beat pretty much any hyper car I went up against in special route X
::: HammerStudiosGaming ::: I'd have to say that my favorite edition is the 400R to be honest... lol I just don't get why it's hated so much though... it is like a pre R34 but a better version of the R32.. especially since I heard the R32 has less comfortable seats than the R33 and R34.. but that's cool.. especially since its the cheapest skyline you could buy it's one of the most possible jdm cars I would buy...
honestly people over look the R33 because of its nose heavy front end and odd body style that looks nothing like the 32 or 34 but that's what makes it unique. It can deff compete and even outrun both other skylines on any track with proper tune and driver. I like your choice bro!
Godzilla has never been underrated in my opinion. Ask any 12 year old what their favourite car is and any of the, will say Skyline GTR. Not only that, but a large portion of youtubers drive GTRs, whether car or non car guy.
Is there some reason in particular you didn't include a Miata? The 1.6 NA is dirt cheap, you can drift it all day long, it often dominates it's domestic counterparts in it's - admittedly low - PP range. I know it's some thick fanboying, but wherever it's competitive, there rarely is contest.
You pretty much summed the reason up yourself, its good, but too niched for this list. These cars have a broader competitive range. If it were a small sports car list then the outcome could be different.
Awesome video! My favorite is actually what you put in the #2 spot, the NSX Type R! There seems to be some lag on the video halfway through #2 and #1... That doesn't change the quality of how good the video is though! Keep up the good work!
When I clocked a 6:32 time on Nurburgring Nordscheife with the Rx-7 fd with racing hards, I had to scratch my head a little(doesn't sound very realistic), but it is a great handling car. My personal favorite is the Rx-7 fc series!
Wow, it just makes me wonder if this car could get within 20 seconds of these types of times in real life when fully modified(minus the danger factor, of course!)
Darrell Glover A fully modified RX-7 IRL with the same sticky tires would burn them out before the car hits the main straight lol, at least with how aggressive I drive in the game. If tire wear didn't exist however, I think it could be at least 30 seconds slower, maybe more just because a real driver could barely take the stress of driving a car as fast as you can in the game. I imagine only the very best of drivers could probably get 10 seconds closer to the same lap time, especially since the top speed physics aren't entirely accurate in this game.
I wish you'd show the cars not just in replay version but in exterior camera view, as well, as if you were driving it; other than that, fantastic video! :)
As for the Honda NSX-R, Honda engineers were struggling to find more power out of the already potent V6 with VTEC. In my mind, they should have done what Ford did to the 2005 GT, adding a supercharger. This would easily pump up the hp from 276 to 400 (That is Ferrari 360 Modena horsepower for cheap) for the Honda NSX-R that were sold in the US and Europe, rather than for Japan as there was a 276 hp regulation to live by at that time.
I think I know why the Nissan R34 GT-R is a lot slower than the Toyota Supra when tuned to the max. The R34 is a lot heavier than Supra and with the way the ATTESA 4WD system is setup in the game, it is designed for extreme acceleration, cornering and give enough grip when using it for rallying (though I rarely see R34s being used for rallies, mostly R32). The Toyota Supra is a lot lighter, being RWD. And as I have driven it in GT6, the car's limited slip differential doesn't do the job well enough in a very tight, sharp hairpin type, corner. When exiting a U-turn corner, the Supra has the habit of wheel spinning the inside wheel which ruins cornering traction but is best for drifting. In a very fast corner, for example the very quick chicanes before the long straight at Silverstone GP circuit, the R34 is more stable than the Supra as there is less body roll. I'd say for drifting and Le Mans racing at Circuit de la Sarthe, the Supra is a great choice, but for rallying and particularly racing at Spa GP circuit and Nurburgring GP circuit, the R34 is a great choice. Both cars are very different at what they do, but they have one thing in common: beating hypercars at all costs.
Aaryesh G. Except that the R34 is only 40 kgs heavier than the Supra when both are in fully tuned form. Aero has much more of a bearing on top end speed on GT6 than weight. In fact, in most cases it has almost no effect on top speed whatsoever, only in acceleration time. Weight isn't a bad thing for top speed, which is why land speed record cars don't even attempt to be lightweight. It keeps the vehicle grounded and reduces the amount of downforce needed to maintain control, while simultaneously giving more traction to the tyres and reducing slippage, in the same way as a trains' weight keeps it from sliding endlessly on the rails.
::: HammerStudiosGaming ::: The GT-R does prove the point that even a 1.7 tonne supercar can be agile and fast. I also drove the Mercedes SL 55 AMG (weights well over 2 tonnes in GT6). But what is weird is that the SL 55 AMG can hit 360 km/h at the redline in 5th gear without NOS and any mods like gear ratio but it does need to slipstream behind opponents to get there. It is only beaten by Ford GT '05 (well over 380 km/h as I did in the PSP version of the game, my YT channel has it) and the McLaren SLR. Most of the Mercedes cars in the game are real heavyweights but ,like the Nissan GT-R, they are fast in a straight line and in corners if driven properly. So it is true that heavyweight cars are one of the great handling and fastest cars around.
Mainly because the 'R' has the full premium treatment, which increases value for the price, and because it has the edge for sheer speed, both in a straight line and around the track.
::: HammerStudiosGaming ::: Yeah ofc, do you know any other cars which i can tune, and Will be better then the tommykaira? By the way, If you set the top speed at 350... you won't slip fast and acceleration and top speed are still really Good!
i dont get that racing cars like bmw z4 gt3 or audi r8 racing car they are shit i can make better car that can handel better and has more hp something like the gtr r32 or chervolet z06
Wtf is this?? Came into this video thinking I'd have some kind of insight if I wanted to buy this game. Is Polyphony off their rock? I've never played GT6 but I've played the previous 5 games a lot. Seems like they've strayed from reality? ANY of those cars having 900hp+ and 280mph top speed is absolutely preposterous....Started playing the GT series to get away from dumb shit like this. Smh...Ya FUCKED it up!
White Rabbit Ahah, yeah top speeds are pretty silly on GT6. But that's not new for GranTurismo, since even back on GT2/3/4 you could easily exceed 1000+ kmh with wheelie tunes etc.
My personal favorite JDM cars in GT6:
10. Subaru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STI spec C Type RA '05
9. Honda S2000 '06
8. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GSR '05
7. Nismo Skyline GT-R S-tune (R32) '00
6. Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD) '02
5. Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package '12
4. Honda NSX Type-R '02
3. Nissan SKYLINE GT-R V-Spec II Nur (R34) '02
2. Toyota SUPRA RZ '97
1. Nissan GT-R NISMO '14
Like this if your favorite JDM car is listed!
Lokiito503 Impreza WRX STI Spec C is a corner killer, it has greater accel than Evo IX and X, it oversteer more than it's rival
my 6 favourite JDM cars are listed :)
I don't think LFA fits this list
First off all, the Lexus LFA is not a JDM. Instead, put the SC300 wich is a JDM. In my opinion
Mazda RX7 spirit r type a lancer evolution 9 nice pick
Mine"s premium r34, it's a monster in every way, expensives but worth it
My personal favorite jdm car to drive is the S13 premium Silvia. It's such a fun car
Honestly IRL I'd take a GTR (R32 or R34) over a Supra
Same
22b as im a subaru rally fan.
My favourite JDM car Is the Mitsubishi evo x.
Me 2
My favorites are the 90's Subaru Imprezas and the 90's Acura/Honda NSXs.
How about the Suzuki GSX-R/4? It's one of the best cars in 500PP range, being super light and fast, it's driftable, and it doesn't cost too much.
Not a JDM car.
Kinda. It's Japanese at least.
No, not at all actually. JDM are domestic production cars, which the GSXR is not. And why do you keep liking your own comments...
Well, okay then. It's a good car in GT6 tho. I always like my own comments, no idea why XD. Great video!
My favorite JDM cars are the Subaru Impreza '99 (all versions of it) and the Honda NSX Type S Zero '97. :D
The best JDM car I think is the Honda NSX Type R.
love this series
Ko Shay - Good :)
I had a Supra mk 4 that went around 360 mph with a tune I was messing around with and beat pretty much any hyper car I went up against in special route X
what’s the tune
SIlvia S15 is pretty good as well.
My favorites: Toyota AE86, Altezza and Caldina GT-FOUR
The 97 supra is never used online in races. It handles horribly. Good everywhere else.
The Toyota AE86 Trueno Apex and the Mazda RX7 (FD3S).
Yes ma men
I liked the Subaru STI as my favorite JDM car in this game and in real life but if I had to say anything better than that is the R33 GTR hands down...
I love the R33 too, especially in the LM edition blue.

I feel like the Godzilla has always been underrated and is just spectacular in every way.
Godzilla has never been underrated in my opinion. Ask any 12 year old what their favourite car is and any of the, will say Skyline GTR. Not only that, but a large portion of youtubers drive GTRs, whether car or non car guy.
Love all the imprezas especially rally and touring, they are just so amazing in the corners
Is there some reason in particular you didn't include a Miata?

we're is the evo it's my favorite car 1-10
The beauty 300ZX, and the beast R34...
Awesome video! My favorite is actually what you put in the #2 spot, the NSX Type R!
There seems to be some lag on the video halfway through #2 and #1... That doesn't change the quality of how good the video is though! Keep up the good work!
Materrulz Gaming - Yeah, it's actually because I slowed down the playback speed for those sections.
The ´02 FD is truely amazing. I have yet to drive something remotely comparable in this game.
A little surprised to see the 3000GT on here but a decent list.
When I clocked a 6:32 time on Nurburgring Nordscheife with the Rx-7 fd with racing hards, I had to scratch my head a little(doesn't sound very realistic), but it is a great handling car. My personal favorite is the Rx-7 fc series!
Darrell Glover the spirit R. always have a soft spot for it
6:14 on it with racing sorts.
*softs.
Wow, it just makes me wonder if this car could get within 20 seconds of these types of times in real life when fully modified(minus the danger factor, of course!)

No GTR Nizmo Mike?
Dean Hollyoak - Not in this pick, as the R35 went more into exotic territory than domestic.
I wish you'd show the cars not just in replay version but in exterior camera view, as well, as if you were driving it; other than that, fantastic video! :)
R - Good suggestion.
No evo? :(

Aaryesh G. Could have been interesting, although I wouldn't exactly call Porsche 911 Turbo money (which is what the NSX cost new) 'cheap'.
The RE Amemiya RX-7, NSX LM Road Car, and Spoon S2000 for me!
U have put a lot of thought from different perspective
U are cool bro
Nice series
Well thanks bud.
Why dont u do more series eh?
About u know more catagories
I have.
Ah k
my favorite is the nsx, just perfect
You said impreza wrong??
According to whom?...
My soul has been pierced. No Civic (not one of them)? No BRZ (86/FR-S)?But for the most part, I agree with the list, though.
Wait how tf did you get the black hood ?
How do you get everything over 250mph? Cheats or just really good tuning?
My favorite
Mazda rx7 spirit r type a for TA R34 for TA Ae86 for drifting Supra a80 for drifting
will u do more tunes
Nathan Bell - We still do occasionally yeah.
does the premium mean the cars with interiors?
It does indeed.
::: HammerStudiosGaming ::: ite thx
03 Lancer EVO

my favorite rx7 is in no. 5 its fine by me still love the rotaries
gt6 have many choices of cars. it depends on you what car suit better for yourself.
BMW M5 08´ is my favourite car which is not so expensive
ChrisTown ClashOfClans it's not a JDM car, but it's still a monstrous car
Lol JDM
My favorite one is the 1jz. Good start with the 1j and ending with the 2j, 😆.
Nuremburg Ring, is that where they hold all the rallies?
You sound like Jeremy from Top Gear when talking about the GTO
lol
Lexus LFA Nurburgring package!
Not JDM. Not even Japanese. Its marketed as an American Exotic.
::: HammerStudiosGaming ::: ahhhh I see... thanks for the heads up
Twin turbo 300zx
NSX is a monster, my go to car in the game
TitaniumBoy3000 Yes it's a monster car
do a best of a goodwood festival of speed car

i want this game , is it good?
*need for speed underground music intensifies.*
my favourite car in number 2. hmm...
the best top ten
why was the supra smokin?
He was racing on a wet track.
Wet track or it was the tyres
do a best trackday car (gt6)
Disagreeing on the R33 Skyline? Hell to the fuck no. As for the NSX, why not the Type S or Type S-Zero?
Mainly because the 'R' has the full premium treatment, which increases value for the price, and because it has the edge for sheer speed, both in a straight line and around the track.
no honda :(
The NSX-R is a Honda last time I checked ;)
::: HammerStudiosGaming ::: lol i didn't see it
toyota sprinter trueno gt-apex is my favorite
My favourite is ofc: tommykaira ZZII '00
If you tune it, it Will be faster then a pagani zonda!!
Its a monster for sure, but I included that car in my top supercars list.
::: HammerStudiosGaming ::: Yeah ofc, do you know any other cars which i can tune, and Will be better then the tommykaira? By the way, If you set the top speed at 350... you won't slip fast and acceleration and top speed are still really Good!
I love the r33!
JDM for life!
top 10 1,000hp+ cars?
Gtr black edition
ZZII?
Its an exotic, not JDM. By definition, the 'D' in JDM refers to ''Domestic'', i.e. production, which the Tommykaira isn't.
Turn off the TRC on the skyline and you’ll realize it’s just that much better then the Supra
I never use Traction Control
HammerStudiosGaming cool. The other factor is I use a controller whereas a lot of people use a gaming wheel setup.
Same here
Supra yaaaaay
Supra rz. my supra rz best km/h is 789
Supra ufffff....512kmh
i dont get that racing cars like bmw z4 gt3 or audi r8 racing car they are shit i can make better car that can handel better and has more hp something like the gtr r32 or chervolet z06
I honestly don't like forgiving cars
nissan 240 sx :3
can anyone help me because most of these cars have blacked out interior😂

And also, EA has no involvement with the GT franchise. It's Polyphony Digital.
Yeah idk why I said EA lol. Playing BF4 right now that might be it.
White Rabbit
The mph top speed is stupid but getting cars to 900hp+ isn't impossible in real life...
