What a real life speaker who is very clear in voice, language and modulation, method of sharing the subject and engaging with the audience with the life questions and answers sessions. Very interactive and is quite interesting. Not but not least the commentators to the questions are great, as they help to unwind the questions. Fantastic audience.

Let me tell you one real life example. During the development of a power plant project, regional river authority had shown negative attitude towards the project, saying this project will pollute the water, drag water from river which will affect water-life in the area, even the river traffic will be hampered due to the jetty and water intake infrastructure on the side of the bank. This created a severe issue in the flow of approval process.
We acknowledged the concern. We performed a detailed study by a renowned consulting firm showing that the amount of water be taken from the river is very low compared to the flow of river as well as comparing with similar type of plant nearby because of upgraded technology of our machines. The study also shows that water will be treated to comply regulatory norms/guidelines (quality and temperature) before discharging in to the river so this will not affect the water-life. River traffic assessment study shows that rarely very few and small boats pass by the side of the jetty or water intake. We also confirmed that regular water treatment report will be provided to the authority.
Now the authority is convinced and very supportive to this national priority project. They also suggest others to follow our methodology.

In some cases resistant Stakeholde may hinder in project success. But if PM addressed their requirements and expectations, they can become supportive

Hi, I worked in a project which built a huge petrochemical plant and my role was a safety manager. Can I consider this work experience as project management experience and is PMI accepts that as project management and account for it as PM manhours? Resistant STK is the worst among all 5 types. To turn around a negative STK , PM may motivate , counsel , influence and engage him . By applying emotional intelligence technique PM may turn him as supportive STK

I Think resistant Stakeholder is more worst than the other two because of the following reason;
an unaware stakeholder is ok which means he is a member but is unaware of the things happening in the project and the neutral stakeholder is also not concerned with the results of the project. so these two even if their active participation is not there but the project can take place. but, if resistant stakeholder feels to stop the project then it can be a greater loss for the project manager and other team members
