"He is tolerated by the gods, perhaps because his stratagems and plans save them as often as they get them into trouble. Loki makes the world more interesting but less safe. He is the father of monsters, the author of woes, the sly god." -Neil Gaiman
A lot of anthropologists think that he was originally a god of family in his oldest versions. Someone who cares for children and widows. The trickster aspect of him was more heavily emphasized later until he became a god of lies who is simultaneously the cause of and solution too all problems.
@@yeager1957 That makes sense : when Odin imprisoned his firstborn Fenrir, Loki decided to avenge him by killing Balder, the most loved son of Odin. Bad idea : the Allfather imprisoned him in a cave with his wife Sigyn and made their children killing each other before them.
what always fascinated about loki the most was his wife : Sygin , despite everything loki was she loved him and remained loyal to him until the very end.
@@lindildeev5721 I thought you were referring to her when you said loki went to seduce other women. for the record not only loki didn't do that, in the sources available it is said that he had a very "loud and clear" idea about sleeping around.
Loki is the catalyst of truth beneath the layers of hidden truths... he exposes bias and levels the playing field... a beautiful energy is my Lollipop and he writes my Loki book with me 🌼
Recently I came to remember two of my past lifes, and in one of them, I lost a child. I meditated to this music, and saw Loki playing the instruments, while my long lost daughter, came to say a last goodbye. Now in this lifetime she (he?) is a grown up man, who seems happy. Thank you, Manuele, for this wonderful experience.
i'm completely speculating here, but the runes written in the banderol behind him, i can read "Not all..............are los(t)" am i the only one who thinks about gandalf's quote "not all who wander are lost"?
I don't worship Loki, nor will I love him like I love other Gods, but I respect him. He is a trickster God, a being who embodies the Chaos from which he came. Trickster Gods are always more dangerous than the evil Gods because you never know what they will do next, you never know if his open arms hold warmth or death. Loki is a true God, a being who can understand human emotion, but at the same time twist it to fit his narrative. Of the Gods that I fear, yet respect, Loki takes the number four spot under Abyss, Night, and Earth.
Its amazing! I would like for many spiritual ones to know the tue role of Loki, his big meaning for the whole pantheon and the burden he really bears. Thank you for this piece of Art!
the art concept is beautiful as well as the music. i love how it translates to not all are lost.
I'm happy when someone understand my music ideas! Exactly, not all is lost :-)

Thank you for your comment and informations about Loki :-)
But if the æesir witnessed them less as monsters but more as benefits they wouldn't of had to face the winter of the gods.
Just read the book about Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman! :)
He is a father figure to those who need it.
Fun fact: It is implied that Loki had a soft spot for young children .
