But actually technology is just a tool and a very secondary thing for life. if we live life the way we are supposed to we need no technology, its going to happen soon. You may think may be we have to live like primitive humans if we have to live with out technology and that's like going back in time, old ways. But my point is that's not going to be the case and even if that is the case there is nothing like going back in time and living old way of primitive life. Life on Earth is timeless it is in this moment and every moment. There is nothing like old and new way of life. And also not to forget to build technologies there is lot of slavery that many many people are doing day and night, working working working...I think technology for itself is sometimes a problem.

But my point is that's not going to be the case and even if that is the case there is nothing like going back in time and living old way of primitive life. Life on Earth is timeless it is in this moment and every moment. There is nothing like old and new way of life.

As a Chinese i understand what jack ma means, he just can't speak it correctly in English so it doesn't make sense to you guys. Basically, he is saying humans create a computer to make them good at doing the stuff, that's why it is good at it that doesn't mean computers are smarter it's just algorithms and math that it can process which is created by humans, so the computer can never be smarter than humans but only more effective as a tool. Basically he is saying creativity is what humans are good at not doing dead calculations and competing stupidly with a machine. its like saying a chainsaw is better than a man with an axe, it is fact because it is the tool that do its job.

He is concerned about artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence learns, adapts things much faster than human brain. According to Elon, the day is not too far when these intelligent machines surpass all the limits and can go beyond the control of humans. Computers or any other machines are not a threat as of now because they are in human control. Chainsaw is a tool as long as it can be controlled but a threat if it starts working as per it's wish.

Jack Ma is an ENFP and Elon Musk is an INTJ. Both are different people. Jack Ma is a realist and Elon Musk is an Idealist. Though realism and idealism may often clash with each other, this is what the society needs. Jack Ma believes it's not too late to save the world and we can act right now while Musk believes that we don't have much time and we need to find an alternative for survival.
In all aspects, I support Jack Ma. Cause I also feel just like him. Why spend billions of dollars and wastes lots of precious years to make Mars a suitable place to live while we can save the earth? Why not spend that 1 billion USD to plant millions of trees, clean all the trash and garbages that have been dumped into the oceans and invest it on renewables sources of energy..
