I wish these werent faked. Why is it so hard to find real versions of these scenes. Surely it cant be that hard for someone accumulating decent YT views to afford to set down a decent camera somewhere outside, maybe under a tarp, when a storm is nearby, and just record it? Maybe your channel isnt big enough yet to afford that. Hopefully someday then.
Well I'm actually planning to do what you described. My first few videos were shot with my Sony A7S3. But I didn't like them. They are super clean, they feel sterile like the commercial stuff. Around me there are a lot of fields that looks 1:1 like one you see in this video but I want to shoot them with something that captures their emotions, feelings a bit more precisely than modern cameras. I've already found some old handycams that are just perfect for this type of stuff I want. But it is difficult to find accessories for them that protect them from the rain, also to find a way how to connect them with power bank to shoot for a longer time, etc. That's what I'm dealing with right now. so yeah I will definitely make real videos as soon as I have everything sorted out

I know there will be limitations on what can be recorded in real life.. for example few storms in my area last for several hours. So in that case the solution may be to record several storms, maybe each for 45 minutes, and stitch them into one video. Etc. anyway thank you for explaining your plans. I will be sticking around for those :)
