- Williams did it really big with the "Fan-Tas-Tic" pinball machine from 1972. I knew this machine - didn't impressed me that much when i saw it on a convention for example. But now that it entered by collection and after fully shopping i have to admit that his is a "you'll always return for a game" machine. What really keeps your interest for a long, long time is the amount of features packed on the roulette wheel. Yes, i have "A-Go-GO" (also form Williams) and i do have "Hi-Score" (Gottlieb 1967) in my collection - but both are far away from "Fan-tas-tic" with their roulette wheels. Greetings from germany. What else to do in never-ending covid times than bringing these old machines back to life. Enjoy my other videos!
And to make it correct (i was wrong during shooting the video)....Fan-Tas-Tic has only 3 saucer holes and "Jack in the Box" is from Gottlieb and "Old Chicago" is from Bally.
That roulette spinner in de middle is kinda cool, haha. Wasn't expecting that for such an early machine.
Very unique game. Thanks for sharing.
I'd never seen this machine, it's a very interesting game. Thanks for sharing
Just bought one today, it's a fascinating game, still needs some points to solve though.
It’s a complex game mechanically, take your time trouble shooting. The bank of relays associated with the roulette wheel are all interconnected, one switch out of adjustment can make other relays react in strange ways.
Thanks for your reply, just saw it today : ) At the time I have the playfield about 30 cm's above the cabinet fixed on some stands, so that the roulette works while checking what's happening inside while troubleshooting. As for most people I guess time's always the factor. If working I might ad a video.
@@jazorf Do you own one ? I lik to know if the mid section does add scores or just lanes and bonus
I do own one but I’m not exactly sure what your question is. Please clarify and I’ll try to help.
I had the opportunity to buy one of these for cheap a few months ago. My wife threw a fit for some reason and I missed out. Bummer. Yours looks great.
The bassoon player is giving us the middle finger.
Just bought one today! Going to fix it up.
Reminds me a bit of Spanish eyes with that center pop bumper
I haven’t seen the “roulette” reel feature, looks like a cool machine. Thank you for sharing. Do you work on the machines yourself? Beyond my skills, but I sure enjoy playing pinball.
My fantastic is missing the 3 center flashing bulbs on the backglass at the fantastic letters. What type bulb do I need to buy? I’m not sure what pattern they should flash. Thank u
Hey you! Thanks for your comment! I think the bulbs you are searching for are the "455" blinking bulbs. You can buy them at every good pinball shop. But some times ago i read that they got out of production or something like this. Haven't bought them for a longer time. Check it out!
What would this pinball game be worth? I have one for sale and have no idea what to ask for it...
Hello and thank you for asking. I don't know where you are writing from. But if you are living in the EURO area then you -maybe- will receive about 1 k for a fully working machine in good condition. Good luck on your mission. But my question is: why don't you keep this classic!
@@Tomyelectronic the Netherlands. Ours has some small problems. The reason we have to sell it after 16 years is because of space, we just don't have any...
We don’t need close-ups of score reels we’ve seen those same times this is a wonderful game and thank you for sharing me with please. You’re filming it just show the play. We don’t really need to see the score. We’ve seen relles 1000 times.
What’s a great game! However, could you re-film this without all the close-ups of the score, wheels and things I just let us watch the game play? We’ve all seen score, reels, and close-ups of flippers and things we really want to see how the game plays. I didn’t understand the spinner close-up, because we need to know what that says, but other than that, just keep the camera fixed, showing the whole bored, while Bob is in place that would be great! Love this game.
Netter Flipper ^^ aber bin eher ein fan von denn 90er jahren flippern
