yea but don't just go to queenstown tbh - its cool but very touristy. the rest of the south island is less touristy, arguably prettier and more of a representation of aotearoa. Or the east and very north of the North Island is also amazing due to the large presence of Māori culture.

ah, i know. it's just that i'm at a very very low point in my life and this is a sort of escapism for me. ashley and kelly seem to have exactly what i've always wanted but probably won't ever get to have. so i get a little sad sometimes, but i know no life is just unicorns and rainbows. still... i aspire to reach a semblance of what she's experiencing because i crave it so deeply. thank you for the reminder though. it's good to hear it from time to time(:@@corinthiamejia6441

The Wakasas is the only family where the parent plans such wild outings! 😂 the DWE gene is strong. But being afraid of something and doing it anyway is so relatable because I’m not fearless 😂
Also, try to send the airline a note about the person who helped you! Even without her name, you can describe her and give the date and what happened. That can be helpful for their job.

i know airlines can sometimes put passengers on standby due to overselling seats on the plane, maybe the bag check argument from the front desk was an excuse to say that the flight was too full 😭 but i’m glad the kind lady helped you out and that you got to enjoy beautiful NZ ❤️

Your laughter and storytelling takes some of the pain away. I’ve had horrible flight and travel stories too - got kicked off a flight because of my citizenship (they decided to give my spot on an overbooked flight to someone who was more wealthy and white-passing than me). It’s never a fun time.

oh my goodness I can't believe you guys came to New Zealand!!! I love that you guys had the best time here. Something that I just wanna throw in is that if you want a summer, beachie holiday in New Zealand it's the best in the North Island only 'cause it's still relatively cold in the South Island and there's A LOT of beaches up here. I feel like the South Island is a great winter holiday spot.

Oh, I'm glad that you were able to get a seat on the plane ❤ When I'm traveling for a long time I'm feeling so exhausted, I think I would have been crying non stop if this happened to me too. But I'm glad everything was OK in the end. The bungee jumping was sooo scary even just looking at it OMG ~

In 2019 I traveled outside of Mexico for the first time in my life since my sister lives in New Zealand and I must say Queenstown was the best part of that jorney. I'm glad you made it! :)
