Thank you for the great vid. I recently inherited a set of leather tools and had no idea what a lot of them are for, you've shown me at least two. Thank you!
Another great video. Such a pleasure watching someone with your talent make something so beautiful. The small pop of color is really a nice touch. Thank you!
Craftsmanship is hard to find these days. Thanks for sharing how you do some of your projects. It helps us who are learning leather work pick up some tricks and watch a pro at work. Towards the end of the project was that a piece of glass that you were using to shave down the edge of the leather and then burnish it? Ray, Oklahoma

I never thought about it that way- I always wondered why people used brushes instead of soft cloths to get a nice shine. Does it matter what kind? Also- love the quiver by the by- the inlay was a nice touch
That was a display of great skill and a great video. I imagine old school leatherworkers doing things by candlelight just like you did! Subtle but awesome! Also what kind/brand of thread do u use?
Hello😁 Thank you for ur always good videos! If you dont mind me asking, which thread did you use on this video?? Love ur video;-) sorry for my poor eng..TAT Have a nice day😘
It drives me nuts when I see guys drilling their stitching holes ,a very good friend of mine drills his stitching holes and I give him a lot of guff for being impatient.
Becky Murphy not to be rude, as that is not my intention, some people like just watching someone work on a beautiful piece like that. I practice archery, and would be thrilled to have something as beautifully made as that.
Don't give up, Becky Murphy. There is bound to be some leather craft or quiver making videos that will explain the steps. You probably have already found some by now. Are you going to make a quiver?
Hands down the best videography on TH-cam I have seen!!!!!!!!
Beautiful piece, you have the smoothest most steady technique of all the leather workers I've seen ,great craftsmanship
Thank you so much 😀

Thank you! Yes, I thought it's about time that I add some color to my work.
nice video indeed and i must say that theres nothing as lovley as doing leatherwork in candlelight or at an open fire outside.
Craftsmanship at it´s best. Thank you for sharing.
Excelent! Great video! And beautiful final product.
I think an "Elf" would like this quiver. An interesting design. Well executed. Thank you for sharing this video with Us.
great job very satisfying to watch ^^
Then I've done my job right. Thank you!

Thank you for watching! Yes it was a piece of broken glass. That method was/ is used in shoemaking. But it is pretty old fashioned.
Hey, if it has worked for all those years, why change it?
True, but you know, it's a slow process and everything must done fast nowadays...

very nice work
Thank you!
That second tool you use (about 00:00:29), what is that? A brush or some sort of burnisher?
Yes it's a brush. It's great for finishing leather, as it reaches all the pores etc.

Sigh. Yet another video that's all about the sounds and no explanation of the steps.

if you need it explained you probably wouldnt understand the explanation
