In 7th grade, we were going to Catalina Island. We drove 6 hours to get to the boat. The teachers knew that a storm was coming but decided to go anyway. We got caught in the storm and the boat nearly capsized. 70 of 75 kids ended up throwing up. WE NEVER EVEN MADE IT TO CATALINA!!! A few kids saw the island when our teachers and the captain decided to turn the boat back around. This was supposed to be a 2 hour boat ride. WE WERE ON THIS BOAT FOR 5 HOURS!!! They put us in an aquarium for 6 hours after this because APPARENTLY THE BUS DRIVERS NEED A CERTAIN AMONT OF REST BEFORE DRIVING AGAIN!!!! We drove the 6 hours back to the school and got back at 2 in the morning the next day. We had a few kids in therapy and everyone was extremely traumatized. That was my craziest field trip I’ve ever been on.

We went to the graveyard for a field trip, for history class. Our teacher knew all sorts of local history of our city so he told us about the history of well known families in town, etc... as we went by their plots. There are also a bunch of statue/monument-like gravestones, both for families and for those that died in historical events like the world wars, etc... Was actually a pretty cool trip even though I walked through that graveyard every day on the way home from school anyway.

Her excuse for leaving me at the park was that she had a lot of kids to take care of, and she forgot to make sure she had all the kids. Now my worst fear is being forgotten. Let’s just say I moved from that school to a different one in less than a few days. This is not a story. ITS *REAL LIFE*.
My dad was a chaperone a few years ago. During our lunch break, he snuck out and bought popcorn for me and my friends (mostly me tho). Everybody thought he was so cool! lol i love him :)

5:51 In Louisiana, we also went to a cotton farm AND a sugar cane farm to 'harvest' some of each ( I say 'harvest' as we just picked a few, not enough to worry about, but enough to take back home as souvenirs of out trip) it was for a elementary trip that let us experience how both solo farmers and slaves spent their daily lives (we also got to see the slave homes that were being kept by the historical society, specifically the Slavery Awareness Society) AND because they were staple crops for our state for hundreds of years... it was a twofer for history. how farmer and slaves lived AND about our States economic history... To this day, I think it was an eye opening trip into our State's past and the role it and it's economy played in history and slavery
My teachers took us to DOLLYWOOD for fun 😂 when we were there I ate my friends fudge,balled my eyes out cause I hit my head on the rollercoaster seat 😂 and the teachers said “your fine” 😂

So then when I reached second grade, I asked and she said I have to be patient. Then when I reached 4th grade, I asked her about it, then she said it’s been such a long time that she forgot, then she said I will give it to you tomorrow I promise! Then I asked again and she said she forgot. When I reached 5th grade, I asked for it and she told me to be patient. Then at the last day of school of my graduating to 6th grade, I decided to ask her one last time. Then she said she forgot and she will mail it to me. Then I said you know what, you get a 5,000 dollar paycheck every god fern month and you can’t spend 98 cents for a toy car from Walmart! I waited for Several years and you still telling me i gotta be patient. It was my favorite toy. But hey, at least I have some cars lol. Then she told me I was very rude. Then I had a note in my backpack from my mom about the toy car and I gave it to her, then she read my moms note, then she said......... your mom is very rude. Good luck in 6th grade!

At camp it was my bus partner’s birthday and we went to a weird waterfall and I was expecting to have a good time jumping on the rocks and drinking my orange Fanta, but nobody was allowed to go into the water or drink anything fizzy so my friend had a very lame party with a terrible cake. After the party I fell into the water and had to change my clothes, it was so embarrassing since everyone, including my crush, was watching me as I rushed off to the unisex bathroom. Turns out, the door of the stall didn’t lock so the teacher had to stand outside, but then she left and I had to hold it closed as I struggled to pull on my jumper and sweatpants. So at my elementary (I’m not in elementary still) {k-5} it was split into 2 wings. On was English and the other was Spanish. The kids in English always got better things than the Spanish kids. ( I was I Spanish and my sisters were). My sister went to a poop plant for a field trip. The English kids went to the zoo. The school got a lot of backlash and now it’s equal.

After the tour we played in a playground they had. And after that aswell, the teachers sat on a bench and let us play near the area she was in. That was when the other teacher saw that the other teacher wasnt breathing. Men took her to the hospital. The school field trip ended and we went back to the school. We had a subsitute teacher. I didnt saw my actual teacher for the rest of the school year. But luckly, she is still alive. I still see her since that happened.

At camp it was my bus partner’s birthday and we went to a weird waterfall and I was expecting to have a good time jumping on the rocks and drinking my orange Fanta, but nobody was allowed to go into the water or drink anything fizzy so my friend had a very lame party with a terrible cake.
After the party I fell into the water and had to change my clothes, it was so embarrassing since everyone, including my crush, was watching me as I rushed off to the unisex bathroom. Turns out, the door of the stall didn’t lock so the teacher had to stand outside, but then she left and I had to hold it closed as I struggled to pull on my jumper and sweatpants. It was very embarrassing since one of the older girls walked up to the stall and asked if anyone was in there.

So at my elementary (I’m not in elementary still) {k-5} it was split into 2 wings. On was English and the other was Spanish. The kids in English always got better things than the Spanish kids. ( I was I Spanish and my sisters were). My sister went to a poop plant for a field trip. The English kids went to the zoo. The school got a lot of backlash and now it’s equal.

When I was little my school said we were going on a field trip to see the northern lights, it turned out to be virtual and all of us were really disappointed, some even cried. We were all like 6-7 years old.

I remember this time in 2nd grade when my teacher told me we were going to a field trip. We were all excited. Then the teacher told us to go follow her to the bus. After we went into the bus, we sat there for 30-40 minutes until we were there. When we were there, we saw a tourist and she escorted us in and gave us a tour. After the tour we played in a playground they had. And after that aswell, the teachers sat on a bench and let us play near the area she was in. That was when the other teacher saw that the other teacher wasnt breathing. Men took her to the hospital. The school field trip ended and we went back to the school. We had a subsitute teacher. I didnt saw my actual teacher for the rest of the school year. But luckly, she is still alive. I still see her since that happened.
