Was your rear shackles bolt heads very close to the leaf spring hanger? We did the rear last night and going back today to torque it down at ride height and it looks like the bolt head prevents the shackles from pivoting upwards.
Snug them up in the air. if you can’t fit under the truck once you lower the truck, let it sit for a couple minutes, lift it up again and torque the bolts. You’ll probably need an alignment after wards so don’t tighten too much
yo bro this might be a dumb question, but what’s lower the 3/5 or the 4/6. i’m looking for little to no tire rub and without having to install a c notch
@@fajitaboyzDFWthe options were 3.15, 3.31 for rwd. You could only get 3.73 if you got 4x4. If you really wanted you could of got the 3.15 or 3.31 with 4x4. Now on the 24 I’m pretty sure the only gear ratio is 3.73 on the regular cab short beds. I know it comes as standard equipment now.
AWESOME VIDEO! Love the reaction when yawl lower the rear for the first time! Thanks for sharing
Do your leaf springs squeek after you installed the flip kit? I have the same kit and now they squeek. very annoying on a brand new truck
Yeah they do a bit! Grease up the shackles it minimizes it a bit. A good set of shocks will help too, I want to get some Viking shocks for it
@@fajitaboyzDFW thanks , i may loosen the shackle bolts a little as well .
What did you end up doing to fix the squeaking?
@@eduardox2609 not really, I loosened the shackle bolt a little and it worked for a little while but the squeek comes back but not too bad.
The trick is make your truck louder😂
Yall putting in work and having fun doing it.
Appreciate it king! Stay tuned for more!!
did your kit come with any missing parts? any extra things you had to buy ?
No sir all came
genuinely curious how much was it to drop it 3/5 because i want an estimate as to how much it would be after it’s installed ?
Kit was 950$
Was your rear shackles bolt heads very close to the leaf spring hanger?

Make sure they are on the corresponding side. From what I remember mine were close too
@@fajitaboyzDFW we got it. All good.
Hey bro the kit came with two gold big washers for the front but have no clue where they go
It’s been a while. Check the instructions on website. They should show. I think they go on the upper or lower ball joint
I’m about to do the front on mine. How did you torque down the control arms? When it’s on the ground or before?

What up bro, how’s the suspension treating you as far as noise wise ? I just copped a f150 and looking into some kits
Good man alittle bumpy, may be worth getting a more expensive kit
yo bro this might be a dumb question, but what’s lower the 3/5 or the 4/6. i’m looking for little to no tire rub and without having to install a c notch
Neither of these drops will cause either so go with which ever one you will like.
Does your truck be bumpy cause mine was on the same kit and any bump will be more bumpy on the truck
Yes bumpy. Been wanting to get fox shocks to see if it gets better
Which kit was this ? There’s 2 different kits with a different price and I’m not sure which one too get
IHC 3/5 drop for two wheel drive
i just ordered a 4/6. what’s the point of the spacers on the strut assembly?
Thats to raise the front and inch
@@fajitaboyzDFW will it affect it if i don’t use it?
@@nickohtx7743since you got a 4/6 it won’t come with that spacer that one is only for the 4/6
Hey bro would you say this truck is worth the cash?
Hell yeah super fun truck man
I just got my rear kit on and the passenger side is lower than the driver side by 1/2 inch.
Does yours lean to the passenger side?
It does not. Just keep driving it, may still need to settle
@@fajitaboyzDFW gonna double check everything tmw, have to put the traction bars on and finish front
Looks good. Nice work!
Thanks for the video, do you have any vibrations through the driveshaft?
No sir, the flip kit is designed for the driveshaft to sit at the correct angle
Around how long did it take bro? Sorry if you say it in the video I’m at work sneak watching this 😂
How did yall get the 2 bolts on the bottom of the oem front shock?
How did yall get them out *
This is great
Any camber issues in the front?!
No sir! You can adjust camber on these
@@fajitaboyzDFW did yu get the adjustable control arms? For my truck they were only able to adjust the toe not the camber

@@ramonmedellin11ahh mine is only a 2/4 so maybe the 4x4 don’t have adjustment
yo bro quick question was ur bumpy after u installed it?
Yeah bro it does settle a bit and it better but it’ll still be bumpy, better shocks will help
Do you miss your factory ride quality?
Alittle lol, was not as stiff
@@fajitaboyzDFW Have you replaced your shocks with lowering shocks? Would that help with the firmness and bounce?
@@ThatGuy-wz3or the lowering kit comes with rear shocks. I do want to get a set of Viking shocks
Another question for yah, did you need to get a camber bolt to have it aligned? The shops near me won’t do it without one
I did not, I used the factory ones and tightened the f out of them, no camber yet I’ve had the kit on for a few weeks now.
@@fajitaboyzDFW thanks for the quick responses bro
Do the rear bump stops go back on or do they stay off?
They stay off! I put them back on before lowering the truck to see how much space I would have . There was only like an inch, so I took them back off
@@fajitaboyzDFW thanks!
Was the kit ads or non ads?
Non
These videos are dope
Clean 🔥

Did you leave the factory rear bump stops on?
Took them off, you’ll bottom out every little bump haha
What’s the best gearing for these the 3.31 3.71 or the 3.71 with electric locking ?
For single cab the only ones available is the 3.31
