Would it be possible if I’m pulling water from a well for the well to dry out? I live in south Florida where it hasn’t rained in like 2 weeks.

Thank you for your question. If you are using a sand point, the water table can drop below the sand point if there has not been any recent rain.
If you have further questions, please call us on our Technical Support Line @ 800-942-4270 and we would be more than happy to answer them.

I have a new house…Iknow nothing about the irrigation pump. My Munro pump makes no sound at all. Is this normal?

Robert - Thank you for your question about your Munro pump. To properly and fully respond about your particular situation, we would need to know more about your particular pump system. In general terms, a running pump will make some noise as there is a motor involved; it isn't necessarily loud, but is present.
I invite you to call our Technical Customer Support (TCS) hotline: 800-942-4270. The TCS specialists speak with homeowners regularly. They will ask questions to fully understand your system set-up; and then provide functional knowledge about your system back to you. If there is a problem with your pump or pump system, they will help to locate and correct the issue.

@@MunroCompanies Thank you very much for your reply. Just the fact that there should be a "hum" or something to indicate that the pump is running is all I need. I have placed my hand on it and nothing even a slight vibration. I have called your Tech Support and am waiting for a call back, BUT, I think I answered my "curiosity." I've open the Munro Smart Box and I saw four wires coming out of the Time Delay componant. They are just hanging there. My Rainbird controller is right next to it. I have read over your installation instructions and according to what I see, two of these wires, Black and White, should be connected to the Rain Bird's Master Valve (MV) and Common (COM). I would do it myself but I won't assume something else needs to be connected as well. My house is still under warranty and I will submit a Warranty trouble ticket.
I think I have enough information to fill out the form and give the builder hints to what needs to be looked at. I'll try to confirm my suspicion's if I get a callback from your Tech Support. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR REPLYING...IT WAS HELPFUL. By the way, I have heard that your company is one of the best irrigation manufactures and being in Grand Juntion is a huge plus for the community!! 👍
