Thanks again, Pheas! This SCAR looks like slightly less of a pain to take apart/rebuild than the Double Bell SCAR H you worked on before. I can see myself getting one just as a collector if not as a secondary/tertiary.
So the main takeout from it is the plastic Cyma SCAR-L compared to the more expensive version with metal upper is basically M4 in a SCAR shell, with non ambidextrous controls (fake right selector and fake left mag release), no quick change spring, plastic bushings and standard internals (compared to Cyma Platinum in the metal one). And disassembly/reassembly seems so much easier because you don't have to deal with ambi selector. That's really good to know. Is the hop up unit the standard M4 hop up or SCAR specific and the same as in the metal version from Cyma?
You don't really need to take it apart at all. You can do it fully built, just turn the hop off fully. But if you want to take the barrel out to clean it.. then you should need the extra screws.. just enough to access the barrel / hop assembly. Pheas
I don’t why but my hart kinda sank mainly because I have the metal version(hopefully the internals are better) of this gun and it said it has bushing which I heard from every Airsoft channel and tech are better than bearings but PLASTIC? are plastic bushings better or just as good as bearings 😂. after seeing this the 200 dollar price tag for the polymer version and the 240$ dollar price tag on evike is ridiculous especially when you can get something like a lancer gen 3 for around the same prices
Shoking isnt it, that companies are charging money like that... and putting plastic bushings in... when companies like cyma and double bell are dropping metal ones in stuff that is no where near that price. Pheas
@@PheasAirsoft on evike it says “FULL METAL GEAR BOX” so in my mind that’s means everything metal That can be metal what they should say is metal (probably pot metal) gears and shell 😂
@@PheasAirsoft ok I was looking at the Lancer tactical High torque motor the sliver body with the red base, that one comes in a lot of stock guns and I think the motor is why its sluggish wit a 7.4

the hop unit is not standard ar. its a plastic Scar type hop unit.... and not amazing quality either. Pheas
Can you recommend any hopunit upgrades? All of the ones I can find are the rotary type.@@PheasAirsoft
Does anyone know the air nozzle length?
i just want to clean the barrel, do i have to take apart those extra screws?

@@PheasAirsoft could you do a short turtorial on taking the basic parts off for taking the barrel out for cleaning?
Hey Pheas Airsoft, could you do a review on the new CYMA Platinum Tactical AK w/ CQB M4 Stock (Color: Black / Featherweight) it can be found on evike
Hi, who is the producer, CYMA or CYBERGUN?
Do you think you’ll do an unboxing of jing gong sig 550 or 552?
Absolutely at some point, I keep looking at them, then people make silly requests that I cant turn down ha ha, but would like to do one. Pheas
Standart v2 gearbox easy to upgrade, but looks like there is alot to upgrade. The internal looks like the minimum requirement 😵💫
just a quick look at that gearbox and you know it came out of a CYMA factory 😉
23:23 relatable. Fkn AR latch 😂

Good video tho I miss the colourful shirts 😥😂
My wardrobe has certainly toned down.. that said, it's coming back to summer again
.. might be time to get some colour back!
@@PheasAirsoft excellent
Why do people take gearboxes apart, then struggle to put them back together!!?😂
