I really thinking of getting one everyone talks about Cyma, lct e&l/Arcturus but the fact you get a metal Ak with a aster and 2 mid caps for the price it’s probably the best bang for your buck ak on the market
Hiya love ur videos bought this gun 2 months ago and feel it dunt shoot straight and it sounds abit crap what upgrades do you recommend for this to make it sound better and shoot better and input would be appreciated
Hello! Initially for not sounding good, might need the motor adjusting (if its scratchy) if you take the pistol grip off there is a little set / grub scre in the base of the motor cage, make a quarter turn at a time one way or the other to see if it gets better or worse. As for range... Get a good quality barrel, like the XT ones from AK2M4.co.uk and a good quality hop rubber. the Maple Leaf mr rubbers are good with an omega nub. Pheas
Thanks for this video. Any idea how you would fix a double feed on one of these? Mine shoots 2 BBs every 3 or 4 shots on semi... Saw a video that it may be due to spring pressure from mag, pushing one BB up and to the side with another in behind... and if you drill a slight indent at the top of the hop chamber where the BBs are pushed up into, it will hold one centrally and it will not move to the side (allowing another to come in as well...) any thoughts on this or could it be due to something else? I might test it to see if it double feeds on a full mag vs an empty one and that may prove the theory.
@@s34mu5 hiya. I could see it could be the spring strength of the mag, not sure I would recommend modding hop units though. I would try other brands of mags, if it's consistently happening then it could be the hop rubber damaged / worn especially if this has developed recently. Does it always fire and occasionally an extra bb or is there a shot with no bb and then 2? Pheas
@PheasAirsoft hi, thanks for response. It's very new and I've used it once, it was doing this straight away, this is with stock mags. I'll try and try some others. Maybe it will stop doing it with a bit more use... it usually fires 1 every time, sometimes 2, I don't think it ever shoots no BBs. Fair enough on not modding hop unit. I'll focus on mags/spring strength first, I can also swap the main spring easily, mine has tactical stock and easy change spring, if it's still happening after that I'll try a full strip down, check shimming etc and potentially replace hop unit. Sound like a plan?
@@s34mu5 if it's brand new from a retailer... I would consider sending it back. If they won't do anything with it, then I would try other mags first. Then try a hop rubber after that. Pheas
Hey there, I have basically the same replica with the different stock, internals are pretty much the same. I had an issue with the wiring a while back, one wire was in contact with the gearbox shell and was causing my replica to shoot full auto. I insolated it and works fine now but I have another issue and it persists. The selector gears fell off as I was pulling my gearbox out which is intended to happen. I put everything back together, made sure I got it positioned properly. Tested the firing modes before I put the gearbox inside the frame, works like a charm - safety, full auto, single. The moment I put everything back together, semi doesn't seem to work. I have to force the selector below the designated spot to have it shoot single. I'm not sure if there's something wrong with the gears inside or am I doing something wrong?
@@angrylemon2066 hello! Potentially, off the top of my head, just 1 thing comes to mind... It could be that it's slipped as it's gone into the shell and a tooth, particularly on the right hand side of the gearbox, has slipped and misaligned. I tend to slide the gearbox into the shell horizontally, not vertically, with the right hand side gear set on top to try and prevent any slippage.
So you can't change spring without major disassembly... bummer. You basically have choose between stock reliability (I hate folder mechanisms on AKs) or ease of spring change. It's good for a fixed joule build but not if you want to switch to go DMR.

@PheasAirsoft also look to potentially changing hop rubber before hop unit, have a maple leaf waiting to go in something
