As much as I appreciate Ford staging a Gymkhana in their own factory, I'm sure I _would_ appreciate it more if I could buy a Puma (or any small Ford) in the USA!
small cars generally don't sell well in the US unless they have a legacy. ie; Mazda MX-5
Or at least, that's Ford's marketing department's thought process.

I would take the Puma over the EcoSport, which is a car that is clearly geared towards the developing countries.
I drive a fusion here in AZ and would love to get my hands on a focus rs. Great cars, bad production quality and too small a margin for our markets. Too bad really. They focused so much on trucks and really never gave much thought to their cars. Left them under designed and allowed them to be made by the cheapest bidder.
I also drive an f150 so I like the trucks too.
@@romeo1550 Ford has literally stopped all production of sedans. They only sell pick up trucks, vans, and econoboxes.

If Americans liked to buy sedans and coupes, it would be there... but they like SUVs and pickups trucks and nobody would buy it.
It's literally just a crossover SUV, there's a billion other examples from every other manufacturer, and they all look and drive exactly the same and have the same exact interior
From what they spent making this including time and effort they must be REALLY proud of this car. Here's to rallying success!

Not for long, it looks like they're putting that out of it's misery too. Pretty soon the only thing they'll sell here is F-pickups and each dealership will be allotted one lonely Mustang to try and retain some relevance.
