  • Here are five very useful applications for the arm drag. There may be some blurred lines between jiu-jitsu, various styles of wrestling, self-defense and sport overlaps, etc., but regardless, these are great options for the arm drag. Explored herein is how to drill the arm drag and it apply based on various energies. I hope this helps you to implement this versatile technique into your game, and if you have any questions, I will do my best to answer.
    Thank you all again, and please like, subscribe and share!

    Man... I love these videos, I train in Judo and do a little Penchak Silat on the side, and these videos not only help me directly, they get me brainstorming how I can cross over these techniques into to what I do. I see a perfect set-up for osoto gari out of this myself :)

    • @KnightJiuJitsu
      @KnightJiuJitsu  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s awesome. And there are definitely a lot of possibilities out of these setups for sure. And speaking of Pencak Silat, that’s the first place I learned that inside trip from this video. I later saw it from a friend who wrestled off of a Russian arm tie but there are definitely lots of cross-style similarities.

    I always thought bjj and Filipino martial arts had a lot of cross over potential due to the use of arm drags and traps in both. You ever done fma Eli? You mentioned the footwork here and it sounds like you speak with experience. Also that two in one take down is very similar to a dumog take down

      These moves are awesome, I can’t wait to try this one on my grandmother when she tries to hug me when I see her at Christmas. She’s really easy to put into a headlock because she always sits in a wheelchair facing the corner, and she doesn’t have the strength to pull my arms off before she passes out.
