How do these parents allow their kids to behave like this??? I'm 18 now and until I was 17 I had to ask my parents to go to any store to even look at the products. Whatever skincare I buy needs to get my parents approval and this used to piss me off but now I'm glad that they did that. God knows how these kids skin will turn out in future.

As an 11 year old that goes to Sephora once in a while, i am deeply sorry for these kids acting like this and I always clean the testers when i am done and i usually only walk out of the store with face wipes lip balm and if im lucky something else. I do use testers i just use the appropriately, when using make-up testers use the make-up utensils to put the product on your face. DO NOT put it directly on your face is disgusting🤮

@@_leaveitblank This comment travelled from the future just to make you know that PTSD is *real* after you leave retail. For a certain amount of time, you won' t be able to put a toe in. Buuuut,... after some therapy, you' ll understand that, as long as you say things softly, extreamly politely and with a smile, YOU CAN BE THE BITCHIEST BISHSHSH WITH OTHER CUSTOMERS WITHOUT RETALIATION. That' s the only method that worked for me😅.
(In the line to pay while the previous customer is still there)
      -Hello, good afternoon!
+Good afternoon☺️ You eyeliner is gorrrgeus, I needed to tell you. May I ask you something, please?

+Awesome. In that case: Hello, thank you for this lady over there, hello, thank you to your mate and extra hellos thank yous for the following ones. I' ll pay by card. Try to have a lovely day if all these homo sapiens sapiens make it possible. (Proceeds to come back after ten mins with coffee for everybody).
Also, when a kid is yelling on the floor like no tomorrow in a restaurant, you can ask "very concerned" to the waiter (loud enough so the parents can hear you): 😰 OMG! Is human sacrifice legal here???😱 They' ll be in my prayers.
The worst thing that can happen is people thinking that YOU are mental (probably a dangerous psychopath since you smile) and avoiding your presence😅😂.

Don't use the acne cleanser if you aren't old enough to get acne. The rest are fine for a kid to use. I would ask your parents for a sunscreen, because protecting your skin from sun damage and cancer are very important at any age. After that you're set. A cleanser, a moisturizer and sunscreen are the only skincare a kid needs.

Sigh, seriously some parents 1 should have never been parents. 2 some parents should be slapped for letting their children act this way. My daughter is 7 and like the rest of the up coming generation obsessed with skin care. There is absolutely nothing wrong with encouraging a good skin care routine(age 4-14 only needs gentle cleanser and moisturizer/spf)Parents do your homework. Just because it's a Tik-Tok trend does not mean you need to hop on the train. There is a brand called Evereden that was created for children as young as 4. Very gentle ingredients and great to start a child's skin care routine. If they insist on a toner just a gentle green tea or moisturizing toner. A good serum is a blue light serum. My daughter would never and has never acted like this inside any store. We frequent Ulta and Sephora and she knows how to use testers from watching myself or me guiding her. I have never let my children control me or their purchase history. It's my hard earned money and my childs already youthful skin. Wtf is she trying to accomplish using anti-aging creams. Any younger might as well put in back in the womb. Parents please regain control of your children.

I agree. Also tiktok is for 13+, so what on earth are younger kids doing on tiktok? That age limit exists precisely bc little kids brains aren't mature enough to handle the overestimulating content. But some parents are so neglectful that they just don't care, they give their immature little kids phones without any limits or rules and then the kid gets influenced by tiktok trends and parents go with it. Parents need to discuss things with their kids in a honest manner, explain to the kids that a lot of these online trends are meant to promote consummerism and exploit people's immaturity and naivety, and to explain to them the concept of peer pressure and how to be above it. Parents also need to have their kid show real responsability and a decent level of maturity before allowing them to use phones or social media.

I don’t do the entire routine every day, only on weekends and possibly if I wake up early enough for school. I started using Make-up younger than most people do, but that’s because I do theater, and we have to wear a lot of makeup. I only usually wear blush, concealer, and clear mascara to school, if I wear any makeup to school. I’ve only ever used a tester once, and it was to feel the texture. (I cleaned it off)

    • @Raven74408

The only skincare an 11 year old needs is a cleanser, a moisturizer, and a sunscreen. Excessive skincare is actually bad for your skin, especially at your age.
You're only 11 and your skin isn't damaged yet. There isn't anything you need to correct with skincare. The only thing you need to worry about is keeping the nice skin you already have protected from sun damage and cancer.
Also it isn't good for your self esteem to be so focused on your appearance or comparing yourself to others. I know tiktok, social media, and beauty advertisements want you to believe that your value as a girl is only based on how pretty you are, but that isn't true. They only want you to believe that so you buy their products and give them your money.
Just focus on learning and doing well in school, on being a kind person and a good friend, on your hobbies and talents and less on your appearance. It seems like you really love acting and theater. I think that's a great thing to contribute to the world. Focus more on that and less on beauty and skincare. You have more to offer the world than just being a pretty face.
