i'm 12 and everytime i go to sephora either for myself or my mom, I always see people whispering or giving me looks as if i don't belong there, not every kid that's been to sephora is like what you imagined. People should stop stereotyping kids.

This videos are SO TRUE. I really hate how these little 9-12 year olds are going into Sephora and messing with EVERYTHING. A few days ago I was at target, just shopping, and this little 10 year old wearing a crop top SPRINTS past me with some skincare and eyelash extensions in her basket, also, she was running into the makeup/skincare section, away from the clothing section. I don't know why kids are like this these days. Most products are harmful for there skin anyways.

@@MayMay-qr1yc well I found some skincare called evereaden that is not at Sephora and it worked great but I wanted to try a product one of my cousins recommended for acne and she is a bit older and it has been working extremely well and although a lot of products ins Sephora aren’t ment for kids my age some of it is actually good for skin for example, some products from glow recipe are amazing for young skin !!!!

It's spread to like every shop w testers. I live in Scotland and even here there's kids running about the shopping centre causing chaos lmao. Went into New Look the other day to spend a gift card and my friend was looking at the body scrubs. Tell me why every single tester he opened was mixed together with the other ones. Like, we kind of just shared a look and knew immediately that it was the group of kids we saw go in there before us.

I went to Sephora to get a laneige lip mask and I had such a hard time trying to grab the lip mask I wanted. I got the last one because I grabbed it before the kids could and then I went to this isle and these little kids were saying that they need a serum for their acne and they had no acne so I started side eyeing them. ( btw I am 16 and bought it with my hard earned money)

I also feel bad for the kids who don’t do anything and still get dirty looks. Skincare starts very early now but to all you wonderful girls out there: still remember to breathe the fresh air, run through dirt and leaves, enjoy sunshine without worrying about skin-ageing, look at flowers and art, laugh loud, spend time with your loved ones and be free. Im a 12 year old and occasionally I'll go to Sephora and every time I walk in I make sure that I am SO polite to the employees (not just because of this trend but because that should be a normal thing) so that I don't get any stories or rumors made up about me. A few weeks ago I was a little girl, probably 5 or 6, looking through Drunk Elephant and asking her mom where something was and I looked in her basket and I swear there were like 15 things in her basket AND she was there with her friends while their moms were just yapping away not caring what they put in their baskets.

I’m 13 and I go to Sephora and Ulta. I don’t use the testers AT ALL. I literally only use mascara, perfume, lip oils, and a nice cleanser and moisturizer that works for me. Not that big of a deal when I’m being nice to the employees and other customers 😊

ive heard from a derma, there is some drunk elephant for kids / tweens, search the yes and nos for brands ( he has vids about drunk elephant, bubble, byoma and glow recipe! ) when i was about 10 or 11 i had some drunk elephant and glow recipe! i used the certain things that he said are ok :)

I honestly want to generally get into makeup and I'm not obsessed with Drunk Elephant. I know it's for older people and I hate people who are rude about people who don't do skincare, and I've experienced people who are Sephora lovers. I overheard a group of girls saying: "You can't be talking, you use Drunk Elephant" and I was just there with a gaping mouth. The only thing I'd want at a local Sephora in a mall is a powder blush and concealer.

As a 13 year old that has only gone to Sephora/Ulta with her mom to get stuff for her, I'm scared of seeing these children and being seen as one! My "skincare routine" is a CeraVe cleanser and moisturizer. If I don't want to do the cleanser, micellar water. I don't wear makeup unless it's a special occasion. Like a wedding or something. I think this outbreak is CRAZY!! #savesephoraemployees
I personally don't mind kids wanting to go to Sephora for skincare, because skincare is essentially a form of hygiene. Some kids get things like acne or eczema early on, but the products they're getting like Drunk Elephant have stuff in them that might ruin their skin later on. Brands like Bubble are for adults and tweens/teens, but they should lay off things like retinol.

I’m in the same age range of Shepora kids and I’ve never owned drunk elephant, summer Fridays, sol de jainero, or glow recipe. I don’t have a Stanley or Uggs. I use CeraVe and some lipgloss and highlighter.
I’m 11 and sometimes when I go to Sephora I see the employees and let’s say I get lots of side eyes and it kind of makes me uncomfortable because they assume im gunna be a bad kid but I’m not and I try to be nice lots of “please” “thank you” and I even saw a tester all ruined so I cleaned it up because I felt bad, the employees looked at me liked I did it and I felt bad when all I was doing was helping!
I am a Sephora kid. BUT i am NOT making drunk elephant smoothies. I have only been to Sephora twice. And got sol de Jenrio for my friends b-day. And the other to get laneige lip balm. I DO NOT destroy things.
My sister is 12 and employees always give her a dirty look as in they're saying "you don't belong here" she does have perfect skin but before she started going to Sephora and getting skincare, she wasn't doing to good in self care, and body care.
That was very disrespectful of them. 12 is a good age to begin taking care of skin. I started at 11 and Im over 40 now but look 10 to 12 yrs younger. Take it from an older lady, make sure you hydrate well and use sunscreen so skin is protected from sun damage. A moisturizer w sunscreen is good to own.:)
I’m 13 and i went into Sephora with my friend, i am very polite to the employees and other customers. We were looking at the summer Fridays section and i see someone little girl that is in 2nd grade pulling her dad into the store!!!!! A FRICKING 7-8 YEAR OLD!!!!! Her dad was wide-eyed it was clear he did not know what he was doing. At this point i had tried to avoid her because i hear all these stories about bratty kids at Sephora and i really didnt want to face her, so my friend and i rushed to the line and checked out!
I’m twelve and u went to Sephora with my mom for stuff for both of us and these ppl knew I was behind them and this 14 year old girl kept talking rlly loudly abt Sephora kids and the mom was like yea ik they are terrible. Ppl should rlly stop stereotyping us because we are literally not all the same some kids do that and some do and half the time it’s adults who also do half the things “Sephora kids do”.

Also I do need skincare, I have acne but I don’t get drunk elephant, glow idk what, or bubble. I just get perfumes, my skincare routine is something normal. But not from Sephora.
