    Evan, you my man are a bodybuilding food connoisseur. Everyone else showing us different ways to cook the same chicken breast and wholemeal rice while you give us variety and flavour. I for one have cooked your meals just to get out of the boredom of chicken and rice. You're a credit to the sport

    Love the series, have been living in Taiwan the last year or so - you would love the food out here man. Amazing meats from all parts of all animals, amazing fruits and veggies unique to the island - if you ever get a chance to compete out here take it man.

  • @thisguy7633
    @thisguy7633 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Listen man, i don't eat animals, but i have to say, you know your shit. You are one of the only bodybuilders that i have seen actually care about nutrition to the extent of acknowledging which vitamins and minerals are in which foods. Just amazing. You rarely see bodybuilders eating this clean. Most of the time, i see lots of "day in the life" videos with Oreos and Five Guys. I see a lot of Fruity Pebbles and Sour Patch Kids as well. But rarely do i ever see quality meat and veggies with herbs/spices/vitamins/minerals etc. You are inspiring. I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

    One of the most intelligent bodybuilders out there. Period. I love to watch your uploads as those are educational and very entertaining. I am also very happy to see someone eating the food, which is very traditional and completely normal to eat in my country of origin (Hungary) . I usually do not pay attention of fellow athletes' videos as not everything works for us 'regular guys" .However I love your approach to the sport and nutrition. Wishing you a speedy recovery from your very recent injury.

    Brother Evan, I second you on chicken livers. I ate them as a kid and I still don't forget to eat them once a week, almost. Put them in my caste iron skillet with some olive oil, salt, and some garam masala (curry powder). It's done in 15mints on med heat. Cheers for good health!!!

    Absolute respect for this guy. I have been doing so many of the things he has made videos on, it is very refreshing to see an accomplished professional promote the balanced diet. I have always felt that the organ meat, bones, and cartilage provide amazing benefits to athletes in the form of protection from injuries. For strength I have not found anything close to the benefits they all provide.

    A good way to use bone marrow is to put it in sauces. I'f your gonna eat it anyway. You can make for example a suace from quark (almost like a kind of cottage cheese, high i protein and low in fat). Since it's so low fat, it's kinda "dry/coarse" (almost like a red wine). But if you add the fat from bone marrow it will balance it out. just heat it on a very low heat, and be carefull not to add to much bone maroow (or other fats) since High temp and high fat makes it easier for it to splitt/curdle. Just add som spices (what ever you want) and you got a high protein sauce/gravy to cover your rice for example. you don't have to pre-cook the marrow, just plop it in raw and let it cook/simmer in the sauce
