12: Insomnia (2002)(I like crime thrillers, but this oddity in Nolan’s filmography comes off as too simple for him) 11: Following (1998)(This film is interesting imo. The twist is great and the structure is so fascinating) 10: Dunkirk (2017)(A very interesting structure for a war movie! I love this film!) 9: Oppenheimer (2023)(Tbh, I appreciate this film more than I like it. It is Nolan’s crowning achievement, but it is a little tiring) 8: Batman Begins (2005)(I love this movie! It’s an amazing start to the greatest trilogy of all time ! Plus, the origin story is incredible!) 7: Memento (2000)(The rewatchability isn’t there, but watching this for the first time was crazy! It is a brilliant movie!) 6: Tenet (2020)(Not Nolan at his best, but Nolan at his most. His most complex, his most ambitious with his biggest set pieces) 5: Interstellar (2014)(Nolan’s most emotional story. Full of heart and large scale sequences! I’m convinced Nolan went to space to film these scenes) 4: Inception (2010)(Nolan’s storytelling magnum opus. Kind of set the standards for every film that followed it) 3: The Dark Knight Rises (2012)(This is a special movie to me. I’ve seen it many times and I’ve always loved it! Ik it has problems, but it’s one of my favorite movies!) 2: The Prestige (2006)(Absolute masterpiece! Blew my mind the first time I watched it! Everytime I watch it, it gets better and more brilliant) 1: The Dark Knight (2008)(My favorite movie of all time! I cannot find even a minor flaw! It is so perfect it’s unbelievable)

Out of what I’ve seen my ranking is 1. The Dark Knight 2. Inception 3. Interstellar 4. The Prestige 5. Batman Begins 6. Dunkirk 7. The Dark Knight Rises 8. Tenet
Would be really cool to hear your thought on danny boyle movies. Love his movies my favourites are trainspotting and shallow grave 😊😊. Also love how much George loves sunshine. Haha. Love the pod. 🫶😁
1. The Dark Knight 2. Inception 3. Memento 4. Dunkirk 5. The Dark Knight Rises 6. Batman Begins 7. Interstellar 8. The Prestige 9. Insomnia 10. Following 11. Tenet
1. The Dark Knight just the best Batman movie and the best superhero movie ever 2. Inception one of the great movies of the 2010s, brilliant cast and story 3. Batman Begins perfect origin story and as well top 5 superhero movies ever 4. The Dark Knight Rises perfect conclusion to the trilogy, got some issues but I love it 5. Dunkirk can't say a bad thing bout it, a war movie like it was never done before. Not on the level of Apocalypse Now or Saving Private Ryan but still a top 15 perhaps top 10 war movie ever 6. The Prestige brilliant movie but I'm not the biggest fan of "costume movies" but the story is great and anything else 7. Interstellar Could have been Nolan's best but there are too many issues in this movie I feel sorry not to put this number 1, it's great but you can't oversee the problems the movie has 8. Tenet If this movie would have been a better cast it could have been top 5 I still like it very much 9. Memento Nolan at his beginning. Everything I like about him started with this movie but he did better with time. Memento is good but not really rewatchable and I think that Nolan is a director who puts much emotions in his movie, I don't feel it really in this one still ok 10. Following Objectively his "worst" but I liked the idea of the movie and how it was done with this low budget. The Story was interesting and the start of Nolan 11. Insomnia Not a fan of cop/crime movies that stuff so it's ok but not my cup of tea I wouldn't rewatch it
The prestige is my personal favourite Nolan film. Incredibly excited for Oppenheimer tomorrow

Interstellar is Nolans best imo!
Nolan used black and white film due to the fact that black and white film was cheaper than coloured film at the time.
Thats what I always think! It still is im pretty sure but the gap is less significant nowadays.
@@jackfleet True. Also, if one uses B&W film there are less variables, which is helpful for your first feature film
@@JRM20_ yh i imagine for an amateur filmmaker with less resources, B&W is much easier to control and work with.
W podcast
Memento nr 1 for me
Yesssss
Fake News George. Once again does he show up with his bigoted takes
