That crackling sound I believe is the sound of a radar for radiation. There was another PS1-styled game wherein that sound popped up a lot in the event you were near irradiated enemies, and with the whole second ending showing that kind of explosion, it makes sense.
I go to TH-cam to literally just watch Hollow... That's all I do. Thank you for today's upload.

Dear Americans: please bear in mind that in many parts of the world, the xx/xx/xxxx date notation is read DD/MM/YYYY. So the date at the start of the game (the 'present') is 9 July '96, and the note at 4:58 is 12 June '96
I like the atmosphere of the game, and the nuke ending or whatever that hell that thing was, was pretty cool.

It's so refreshing to have short and sweet game experiences. Not every single player game has to be 20 hours long. I'd rather have 1 hour or less of gameplay done very well and effectively than 20 hours of mediocrity. Another reason to be thankful for indie developers.

I work at a gate house or booth as a security guard in Miami Beach and my booth was not that small it actually had its own bathroom it’s own small refrigerator and microwave and a nice comfortable chair
