It's worse than Kamui. For a start Obito's intangibility IS instant (You might be thinking of his teleportation) it also requires no real focus and somewhat acts on instinct/reflex because surprise attacks often phase through him, also unlike Mirio it is so easy for Obito to use that he could utilize it on the battlefield the moment he unlocked it. Kamui also doesn't make Obito blind or deaf. Finally, Kamui gives a user intangibility, teleportation to anywhere on earth as well as a pocket dimension that nobody else can access.
6:49 I think defenses created by some transformation quirks (Hardening, Steel, etc) could block Mirio, since the user themselves are the "defenses". If I recall Kirishima was caught off guard in that training fight and did not activate his quirk against Mirio's attack, but I think that if he had activated it first, it would have blocked Mirio at least to a certain extent.
One of the cooles quirks to date! I would want an Emitter type quirk called Disaster Master that lets me recreate and control any weather phenomena directly from my body at will!
i think this quirk would not only be hella op but also come with some hella drawbacks like you not being able to control the disasters you create, maybe you get really tired or require a big food intake etc.
It’s interesting that when Mirio phases his entire body he falls meaning that he can’t phase through gravity, maybe he could train so that even that doesn’t affect him and he can learn to fly

Imagine if there was a 2.0 version of this quirk that Dr. Giraki improved somehow by using elements from another quirk possibly similar permeation. I could imagine permeation 2.0 working along the lines of that when the person goes intangible, they gain the ability that if they phase into a moving object such as a car, or let a bullet pass through them, they can steal the kinetic energy from the object when entangible, and then store and release that energy to grant themselves a temporary, short boost in speed and acceleration, also allowing them to get even more acceleration when phasing out of walls and surfaces.
That would be cool but how would the acceleration boost work? After stealing the kinetic energy, would it power up inside of him before he releases it as a speed boost?
OMG MY NAME AGAIN Haha, i think that another potencial of the quirk is if Mirio could share his quirk by holding someone like Kitty Pride from Xmen, when she touch someone and use her mutation, the other person can phase solid matter too
exactly. MHUR gave this man a dome like shield move and made him a rapid type character bcs of all the "momentum" potential. did he ever project a literal blue dome to protect allies and himself? i don't think that's in permeations kit 😐😭

I haven’t watched the vid yet, but this idea had to be written at this very moment or I’d forget it. Idea: partial intangibility. Depending on how permeation works, he could make himself intangible to less dense objects while maintaining his tangibility for denser objects(I think). I don’t know how Mirio’s Permeation works, so I don’t know if this would work. Please, tell me if I’m wrong. Also, idea #2: as said, matter cannot occupy the same space, at least by permeation’s logic, so items are shot out when permeation is deactivated. So, just grab a few pebbles, rapidly activate and deactivate permeation, and bam, handgun(hah), negating his ranged disadvantage. Edit, I have finished watching the video, he already had my idea #2, but I’m keeping it here anyway
Can you analyse the All For One quirk? I’m just curious on how it works. If you won’t do that, can you analyse Super Regeneration? It’s just the limitations seem to be very unclear.

Hmm... feel a little bad that i had my OC from JAST stomp Mirio because all of the things he could do didn't matter. Before you ask the character didn't have a quirk, he had something else. Something that let him track Mirio underground, ignore the blinder touch, and he was dense and strong enough that Mirio at full speed attacking the character hurt him more.
ok so when he is propelled out of the ground he is done so with high velocity, and the more he uses this method of transportation, the faster he is propelled. momentum = mass x velocity, so his punches therefore carry a lot more momentum and therefore more force :)
The reason I think he doesn't turn invisible is because he is only turning the bare minimum permeable. He is invisible but just the parts that are permeable and the only permeable parts are parts you can't see anyway because they are overlapping another object. Maybe Mirio does this to keep his senses for as long as possible.
Where is Lemillion during the my hero academia final war arc? I think he has been completely forgotten or removed since he is probably the only character in the series that possibly could beat all the villains. He could outshine deku easily. Probably already did in his fee appearances
Probably with Endeavor's or Ochaco's team. Honestly, I don't think he would have a great importance in the war arc actually. With his quirk, he will be really useful to fight some random villains or Tartarus' escapees with his high fighting level
@@darylntumba2014 he showed up during the liberation war.....he held his own and I think the likes of afo shigaraki wouldn't be able to easily stop him.

I suspect that he becomes a hologram, similar to that one girl's quirk from Hero's Rising, where he is clearly there but everything passes through him. Also, another of this quirks weaknesses is the fact that only HE is permeable and not anything else so he can't bring other to safety through a wall or something similar (i.e. the whole reason he couldn't quickly save Eri when he fought overhaul.) Though, I suspect that a possible quirk awakening that could happen is if he "links up" his ability to pass through things with other people by sharing DNA a la OfA but it's on a time limit. Like, he gives them a piece of his hair and the person becomes permeable for a few seconds/minutes and Mirio is able to pull them through places without worry.

Isnt his costume made out of his hair? The thing was that his hair had the same effect as his quirk when activated with his factor.
This quirk is extremely hard to master but once you do it is one od the most strongest one to use one of my favorite along with eraser and dark shadow
