- The story behind the V1 missile and how it worked. Ahead of it's time it was the world's first operational cruise missile. The engine was a simple design but incredibly efficient using very few parts. It became known as the doodlebug or buzz bomb due to the sound of the pulse jet.
We're trying something new with this film. Let us know if we made any errors here. Thanks !
Only error is on TH-cam for not notifying me......
I like this new video. Hoping to see more like it.
I understand some english, but i like to put the CC in spanish
i was a 16 year old american living in Bedford UK in the spring of 1966, i attended Goldington Secondary school and my homeroom teacher talked about when the V-1 was coming towards you, if the pulse jet quit right above you, you knew it would glide past, however if the sound stopped before it got to you you had better take cover as it could drop on you--- it was just 21 years after the end of WW2 and memories of my friends parents were fresh of WW2---- us americans have no idea what it was like to have nazi bombers flying overhead, or worrying about buzz [V-1] bombs flying overhead-- i got a good look at one in the imperial war museum in london.
This is a lot less of a summary of a previous video, as it is a look at the engineering behind that weapons featured in a previous video. I like it a lot. I think it adds another dimension to the story telling. Keep it up!
This yarn about the V1 represents the best combination of contemporary animation and historical video that I have seen.-Bravo
I hope TH-cam won't go mad about it because this is very interesting and super well put together!
I very much like the format of presenting the history and technical detail of weapons systems.
Very cool animation, WOW 🤯
This was really cool. I’m getting ahead in history with these.
Love this new video concept!
The animations have gotten really good lately, keep up the good work!
It has always been
Very interesting
If I had to watch these in. In school when I grew up in the 80s. I would have done a lot better in history perfect as usual guys.
ANOTHER YARNHUB CHANNEL? LETS GOOOOOOOOOO
We need nore videos like this.
I liked these longer videos.
Great video! Would love to see more of these! 👍
Love this type of vids! Pls continue this in the future!
bro was the early Julius Robert Oppenheimer just like oppenheimer he didnt know that his invention would be a terror over the world .
Very cool change of pace on the video style
oooh, nice
Keep up the good work mate!
Great video! Super informative!
this is so cray cray
I like this informational style video, not based in stories if indivoduals ( do t get me wrong thats still cool), but overall the war. Hope this idea develops
This is great! Providing informative videos or further context on certain aspects of stories told on the main channel feels more compelling to me than bite sized versions of the main videos, this way instead of having two different channels providing the same content for different target audiences, you would bring over the main channel’s target audience to a second channel to get more info and/or context on a story you have already told! For example, another video like this explaining the decision making and planning of Pearl Harbor attack with particular focus on Admiral Yamamoto’s part in it would be a great complement to Operation Vengeance! In any case, no one like you guys to provide quality content! Keep up the great work!
It's good video! Sad to see technology advance was being used in such a way.
The splitting of the words so clearly is interesting but also slightly strange I presume maybe this is done for editing purposes if any errors are made??
This is good!!
Not bad. Keep it up!
this is a pretty nice change, would love to see more like this
Nice touch, adding historical footage. It adds a sense of reality to the videos
Cool to see that they did a video on the V-1! Could you do a video on the V-2?
Do a video on the V-3 cannon. Not a lot of people talk about it today.
I really like the idea of nerding over a specific weapon/vehicle etc. rather than just a shorter version of the regular videos
You should do more of these. Explaining certain weapons or battles and stuff, i liked it.
The Fi 103R was not a suicide weapon. It rather was an experimental to dig down the flight characteristics of the V1.
I like this format. I didn't know about this channel but as a subscriber to the main channel, I wouldn't have seen much value in also watching this one. I subscribed now for more content like this.
Although, I would like a slightly slower pace in speech, it’s seem like your are excited but rushing lines.
Unless that is intentional.
Thanks for the feedback
The meteor vs V-1 technically wasn’t the first jet vs jet combat (I don’t count the V-1 as a jet plane since it can’t really fight back since it has no pilot) the real first jet vs jet dogfight was between an F-80 shooting star and a MiG-15 during the Korean War.
It was the first jet v jet kill, though, which is what they said.
Can you do the V2
