I've been working on my truck all week, just little things, and I love how much easier this thing is to work on compared to my Z 😂 So far I did a valve cover gasket, replaced the flasher relay, air filter/oil change, spark plugs and just some other general maintenance. So easy and rewarding.

@@MrSubaru1387 it appears as though the previous owner put way to much Subaru cooling conditioner in it (its on it third flush and still not all out) and then I heard a squeak while driving (almost like a wheel bearing) went away, came back way worse then "CLUNK" my MPH dropped from 60 to 0 quick but the rest of the car was fine. (car has no ABS because it didn't come with it ) then lastly the power mode light is flashing a code at me and I can't decipher it.

The Subaru EN07 is one of the few Japanese kei trucks that has non-interference valves. So you shouldn't have to worry about snapping a timing belt and causing damage... You'll just be stuck or need a tow.

man, wish i coulda told ya a pro tip i learned a while back. you could have taken off the drum, sprayed it down real good with PB blaster, let is soak and evaporate on its own, then wire brushed the drum, then spray with brake cleaner and wipe clean, then spray with paint... woulda came out like new. that PB blaster does wonders on oxidation. magical stuff, but im sure you know this. still tho, looks great. nice choice of rim.

I've had trouble getting small things from Japan lately, unless you want an expensive shipping option. That or the fact they're waiting for the shipping container to be full before sending it are likely why you're still waiting. There are several places in the US that specialize in these trucks.
You don't need classes to learn to weld, youtube videos and practice, but classes will definitely make you a better welder. I bought a welder, taught myself, and welded the back end of a Fiero back together.

You should have painted the calipers red. That's good for +5 MPH. 😛 I looked at 12 Toyota 4Runners around Cincinnati and EVERY one of them had severe rust on the rear frame, painted over with black Rust-Oleum. I could tap the frame with my finger and a teaspoon of bubbly loose rust flakes covered in black paint would fall off. I hate used car dealers. I love my Hijet. Tons of fun and it's easy to work on it. Wish parts were easier to find in the US.
