I appreciate this heartfelt and authentic communication. It always seemed obvious to me that YB was a black magician and first class BS artist, nonetheless extremely clever and cunning in his ability to synthesize several authentic lineages and posit himself as a bonafide Guru when he had never been empowered by any of those lineages or lineage holders. The yoga is powerful and has helped a lot of people. The time place and circumstances were in his favor as the culture at that time, like now, was hungry for spiritual awakening and transformation. It’s rare to find spiritual teachers and so called leaders who have truly transcended the ego and Human power drives. In the vedas, so called ‘ yogi demons’ had access and utilized the same spiritual practices and mantras as sages. It’s the underlying intentions that finally tell the story.
What about the children? What about them. I feel the financial scandal is the least of the evil that existed. But the physical sexual and emotional abuse that took place for decades is the number 1 issue Let's not lesson the horrific harm that took place.
did you not listened what harm was doing with the distancing parenting and send children to the boardingschools in india and making the second generation born and raised in ill. there even to force them in the yoga practices as babys was not responasability.kundalin yoga was missused in 3HO at the early beginning.I am heartbroken for the second generation. the lawsuits since the 80 and all that sexual abuses in the comunity and build them up as sistematicly horrific habits like also gurudev in satnamrasayan did to his students.. were not reallly hidden . all of the first generation has to take their responsabilty for being blindly following that 3Ho rules this documentary has to wake up the spiritual yoga scene!!
It has nothing to do with ancient kriya practices, mantras, and meditation. Most western Churches do the same things with the males in leadership. They all cheat as do policemen lawyers, etc. YB group had a church split. Some refused to believe, some left the practice and some like me just became more progressive and dropped the YB off our classes. I was involved in the "Yogi Bhajan church split" in teacher training. I just changed my teachers. I'm a 900 hr teacher now and never think of YB. So, I hope you find the healing from your teacher within.

I ve been in the kundalini yoga scene for about 5 years. Loved the yoga, but was never drawn to the cultish side, what was called the teachings of YB. It just didn't make much sense to me. Even back in 2001 when i started there where rumours about abuse by YB. It's obviously very hard for many people to let this go and take responsibility for a flawed spiritual system. It never made me feel free. So many rules that we not to be questioned, a top-down system. Not open and in that sense not spiritual at all. I appreciated the teachers that were less formal, not everything is for everyone. Use what works for you. Thanks for the wonderful time and shame on you for making so much suffering possible with bad intend.
So you saw how “power” corrupts and still stayed at HIS service until his death? That’s doesn’t make sense, man. You were my teacher and I know you are not stupid nor naive. Dont try to wash your hands implying that you didn’t knew anything. You were and still profit from it and thats why your “human part”, that you like to remark, it’s still fighting to keep the business. You accepting that you just need yogi tea to keep paying the bills, would be more honorable than all of the word soup. I still practice Kundalini Yoga, I know the potential in the practice but that has nothing to do with all the spiritual bs that you are still trying to sell.

Grateful to see this! There are always many sides to the story and it was disgraceful how the documentary makes kundalini look evil or bad. It was the HUMANS involved that were addicts and unhealthy people that were at fault Like every religion and every cult leader, it is the person or leader that abused the people who were the followers. It is a good reminder of us all finding our own sovereign decisions. I was a victim and sheeple in business and religion as well. The healing of those wounds has helped me more than anything. I pray all the victims can heal ❤

But when you transitioned and started the 13 Moons, I joined in, It kept me on a healing path and I am greatly appreciative of the few who kept the Kriya, mantra and Breathwork so that I could continue my path of healing.
GS is telling people YB is an example of how a man can gain a 'tremendous power' from practicing KY, while knowing at least from the witnesses in the documentary that YB didn't even practice KY. GS nicely twisted and used this as a selling point to keep his Kundalini 'university' business running, just added a cautionary note to it (not to misuse the 'tremendous power' his followers are about to gain in his 'university').

The main purpose of the Bhajan cult is to buried the truth and they have no intention of ever facing the truth.
