So beautiful. I don't really have words to express how moved I am by his enchanting creativity and fierce skills. I was blessed to see him in concert and audit a master class with him last weekend and all I can say is: wow. A truly inspirational master of the guitar. Tone. Dynamics. Rhythm. Articulation. Improvisation. Everything. Just wow.

There are quite a few people at Fiver who are willing to transcribe pieces for a reasonable price, I was also wondering about contracting someone some day (my ears are unfortunately not at that level yet for I to do it myself)
Probably not his best arrangement. Doesn't feel as if it was made originally for guitar. As Dyens himself put it, that's what makes an arrengement good. Still very wonderfull work and an amazing guitarist as always.

"My Funny Valentine" is a show tune from the 1937 Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart coming of age musical Babes in Arms in which it was introduced by teenaged star Mitzi Green. The song became a popular jazz standard, appearing on over 1300 albums performed by over 600 artists. One of them was Chet Baker, for whom it became his signature song. In 2015 the Gerry Mulligan quartet's 1953 version of the song (featuring Chet Baker) was inducted into the Library of Congress's National Recording Registry for its "cultural, artistic and/or historical significance to American society and the nation’s audio legacy".
