Interpretation of the runes
The rune text of the remains reads in Old West Nordic, according to interpretation in the Samnordic rune text database:
"Ormi and Holmvidr and Holmfast had a stone erected after Brodd, his good father."
Archaeological description of the runestone
The description of the runic carving is below. (Note that relic descriptions can sometimes contain information about several ancient relics. They are then usually numbered in the text.)
"The runestone, which Rheqelius erected in 1635" river bank or shore "(uncertain on which side of the river) since he found it" in the gwan stream ", has long since disappeared. 1912, which according to the newspaper article below was built on the site of Norrtälje former upper (older) mill. (= the current approx. 300 m upstream and immediately S of the river ??) and it was partly according to Bartil in a non-positioned basement wall. T The description is not quality assured.
