It’s mainly known as being an important maritime trade hub. The most important buildings that made Bremen city popular are the Hanseatic buildings in Market Square.
The facade of the Gothic-style town hall is from the Renaissance period, making it a real artwork. That and the large model ships in its upper hall make the town hall a beautiful landmark that you have to see.
