I used to live in Bremen for four years. I very much liked the City when I went there and had good moments but I also wenn through very bad times there so I don't feel like coming back. It's also a long time ago. I wouldn't feel comfortable there.
Seeehr schöne Altstadt! Da habe ich viel Spass gemacht - und ich habe auch am besten Kebab probiert in Bremen :-9 Lovely town which I would gladly visit again
I've lived in Bremen for several years and can say that there are so many things and secrets to discover and that a trip is worthwhile at any time of the year. Visitors of all nations are always welcome in our small, alternative and green city
How many days you think is enough to visit Bremen? I am going to Hamburg in September for 2 days and there is a train from Hamburg to Bremen in 59 minutes so I plan to travel and sleep 1 night
now I want this pandemic situation to get better so I can visit Bremen! what an amazing video, so educational and clear to understand. Thanks for sharing!
i live in bremen, i recommend you stay for about a day in total. sadly a lot of the city is utilitarian post-war and modernist architecture, because a lot was destroyed during ww2. what was shown in this video is pretty much all that is left in terms of historical sights. a day is enough to properly witness all of it. honestly if it was up too me, id prioritise southern germany. münchen, nürnberg, rothenburg o.d.t. are all much more impressive. Rothenburg especially will just blow you away if youre into medieval stuff. Bavaria is a treasure trove for that kind of thing.
My grandmother was from Bremen 🇩🇪 - and so we always fondly had her miniature, hand-painted statue of the Welt berühmt "Bremer "Stadtmusikanten" in our living room!💖🎶🎶✨
Watched this to get a better understanding of the fairy tale bcuz one of my favourite artists released a song named Bremen. Am convinced to go to Bremen now lol nice video
I live in Bremen for 27 years. Come visit us, we are small but awesome and we are broke, we need money XD Places you can visit if you like old architecture: - Bremer Stadtplatz - Schnoor - Böttcherstraße - Bremen Main Station In fact the Schnoor was the only part that was spared of bombs. Our cathedral was bombed too. But the interesting thing is our main station: We draw a street on the roof, so from above you couldn't see its a main station. That why its still there and looks amazing! Visit our cathedral, its much smaller than in Cologne, but its made in 6 different epoches. Its a patchwork cathedral, full of history. A small city, full of old and fascinating history. I love it here, I live in an old worker quater in a 111 year old house. Its old and gross and awesome XD
I've been born in and living in Bremen nord. Funny story as I was going to the weinachtsmarkt I saw a couple taking pictures of the stadtmusikanten. I said to my mother huh why is he taking a picture of them and as I was saying that. It dawned on me the stadtmusikanten are a sightseeing location.
My Husband is born in Bremen and he showed me the Spitting Stone of Gesche Gottfried. She killed 3 husbands with poison Blueberry Pie. The 4th survived and could proof her deed from which in process it had been found she killed the 3 previous husbands too. She was the very last person and rare for a women to be beheaded on the market square. And a small 5x5 inch black stone with a Cross and still today peoples spit on that stone, left to the Dom used.
You forgot to show the manhole cover on the old marketplace, when you throw a coin inside it you can hear one of the members of the bremer stadtmusikanten:)
You just described how I feel as I'm from Bremen. Language exempt I think mentality wise we are closer to the Netherlands or Denmark together with Hamburg than to some other german states. :D
