"Let the end of the world be inside you, then you don't need to fear the end of the world out there" Eckart Tolle

I'm sure there's more to this Tolle quote but I can't help but see it as supremely goofy. Think of it like, "Let there be rape inside you, then you will not fear actual rape" you know? Goofy. Like it's just totally detached intellectualism not connected to real life.

Amazing, thanks for that...I have expected the TOTAL collapse of Industrial Civilization for the past 7-8 years now, and I think it is happening now in the next few months, 12 months top...anyway, whether I am right or wrong is beside the point...the point I am trying to make is that it has been a part of me for so long (that I would not die of old bones because of IC collapse) that I am not even worried, scared or sad, even though I fully believe that I will be dead in the next few months, 12 months at best...

@@brbr2854 You're probably either suppressing the fear or you're just too depressed or broken to feel anything. A lot of us have been thinking about total collapse for years, I mean our religion of Hollywood has been preaching this to us for our whole lives, it's a part of our identity and makes up a large part of who we are... but how can that really make someone comfortable with the collapse of their nation and subsequent violence, chaos, pillaging, mass ethnic replacement, third world takeover, etc? Sorry but it just sounds like a badass quote lacking in actual truth.

@@FiggsNeughton I am ABSOLUTELY not depressed, first off. Second I am not some Doomsday cultist. Here is my train of thoughts (it's a comment I have already written, so I am just pasting it here) And in case you don't feel like reading my whole comment, let me leave you with these axioms: • Nothing is Absolute
      • Everything is Relative
      • Nothing is Real
      • Nothing really Matters
Now here is my comment as to why we will collapse soon: The world economy we have built since WW2 is all predicated on debt. Debt is a way of pulling future demand forward. It's made possible by expected future growth, enabling you to pay not only principal but interest as well. If there is no growth the system does not work. For decades we had a planet full of resources, namely cheap conventional oil (which pretty much underpins every other resource in the world). So we were able to grow the global economy (and service it's growing debts) Now in 2005, we peaked in conventional oil, which gave way to the GFC of 2007-2009 (sub-primes were a major symptom, but ultimately it was oil racing to 150$ a barrel that took the global economy down). Central Banks immediately stepped in to save the day (with QE namely, helping artificially to keep interest rates low). But this was simply papering over the real predicament, which is that the resources left are no longer sufficient to grow the global economy. But the papering over by CBs worked as we did have actual global growth since 2009...but at the cost of debts going exponential (part of the End Game)....but as soon as the global economy would start slowing down and shrinking...it would be Game Over (and next time CBs will not be able to paper over the predicament we are in). I did not know obviously what the snowflake would be to start the avalanche (of the global economy in contraction). Turns out the snowflake was not a snowflake, but a bowling ball in the form on COVID-19. Now with the shutdowns, global GDP is going to shrink in a major way. So what do I see happening? Well I see the global financial system (which is the OS running our Industrial Civilization) crashing. Without our OS, supply chains will break (including for food production and distribution), JIT delivery (which is how all industries work now) will disappear. Local and global trade will be rendered impossible. With no more food in grocery stores across the world, people will stop going to work, including people working for electric grid companies. And obviously, unattended grids will go down in a matter of days. With grids down, no one can survive, even the best prepper in the world. Only maybe a few hunter-gatherers, but they only number in the hundreds, and they will have to deal with 4000 spent fuel-rods which are currently stored on-site in pools (which are electrified) of most of the 400-450 nuclear reactor sites across the world. Without electricity anymore, the 4000 spent-fuel rods will spew into the atmosphere. Keep an eye out for this fall....it will make the fall of 2008 (during the GFC) look like a cakewalk. And whether I am wrong about my timing, one thing is for sure, we do not have decades left...

@@FiggsNeughton the death E.T. speaks about is the psychological death... The one that Jesus suffered on the cross of matter. Jesus death was not of the body, it was only a metaphor for the Psyche's (and all it's illusions) death. Death of the Ego. And once we understand everything is a dream, an illusion, we will understand that the world out there is also an illusion. If it disappears, there's nothing wrong with it. Because this Universe is composed of Chaos and Order. Accept the order, accept the Chaos because the Higher Supreme Intelligence knows better...

Jung had already foreseen both World Wars before they broke out. Therefore, his visions should be taken seriously.

Jung was friends with Immanuel Velikovsky, author of Worlds in Collision, a study on cosmic catastrophes. Then there is the idea that we live in a binary star system with a brown dwarf failed star that causes periodic catastrophes on Earth.

My heart.. my soul.. my whole self aches when i watch this video. This is so true when she states how selfish and absurd it is that humanity will destroy all life which has a right to exist as much or moe than humans.. We act exacty like a virus.. An advance form of a virus that will try to colonize anything and everything to expand its existence but is it a good thing is the real question.. What purpose to exist and take over everything until nothing...

Tia Lia This maybe the case with your average person, but certainly not Jung. He knew how to differentiate his own personal projections from what he could see objectively. If you read memories, dreams & reflections and look at what he seen with Dr who treated him, you will understand what I am pointing out.
