I used to be on topirimate for migraines too - it didn’t do anything except turn me into a muddled mess!!! I’ve been on all sorts for my migraines but nothing has really worked and the side effects are always significant. The thing that has actually helped some (approx 50% improvement from daily migraines) is having a daith piercing! Sounds barmy but it apparently stimulates the vagus nerve which reduces the frequency/intensity of migraines. I’m still popping more triptans than is ideal but I’m so pleased I had it done. Joanne really, I am sorry to hear that sweet. I am doing really well on it now I have found the right dose for me. I have heard a lot about that, I will look into it glad you are a bit better xxx
Spoonielifelover yeah, it’s nice to be gradually coming off some meds (I’m currently on sodium valproate and come off it completely on Tuesday - woo hoo!). Just so I know for future comment, are you a Chloe, or a clo or something else? I’m Jo - nice to meet you 😊😂
