I'm so sorry your feeling a wee bit blue but it will take u a wee while to settle but u will get there once u get things sorted it will feel a bit more homely just take it easy and we'll done you are so amazing and blessed to have great parents who are there for u.
I’m still catching up! Btw, frozen stew veg is the way to go- no prepping/ peeling etc and when you factor in the wastage from the peels etc then just as cost effective as buying fresh veg. Most shops do it. If you want to be fancy then soffrito works too xxxx
I’m at the bit where you’re feeling very overwhelmed and wondering how you’ll cope on your own. All I can say is that you’ll manage because you’re strong and capable and you’ll cope because you have to! As long as you’ve covered the basics for you and immy (eg feeding, meds etc) then the rest is just details that can get sorted as and when. I lived alone for eight years and it was great - you can suit yourself in every way. Scared of the dark? Keep the light on - who’s it disturbing? Want to shower at midnight? Do it! Your house, your rules! Lots of love xxxx
Ps I only watched scary things during daylight hours only. This was a strict rule lol! I was very upset when I watched I am legend starring will smith - no one told me it was a scary zombie movie!!!! 😂😂
Re paint colours, I can thoroughly recommend’just walnut’ by dulux. It looks grey during the daytime, but at night with the lights on it warms right up and feels lovely and cosy. I had it in the living room in my flat and after my last tenants left and destroyed nearly everything, I painted the whole place (except kitchen and bathroom) that colour. I loved it! Re decorating/furnishing the place, I would say take your time. Live in the place for a while and learn how you use the space, what your tastes are etc. A lot of what I had in the place when I first moved in I ended up changing as it was only a passing fancy rather than really being ‘me’. Does that make sense? I’ll WhatsApp you some pics of my flat, I don’t think I’ve ever sent you any have I? Xxx
