I grew up with Clock Tower (2) on PS1 and I absolutely LOVED it as a kid, I didn’t find out till Years later that it was a sequel to a game I can never play. Until now, now I can finally say at last that I’ve played the FIRST Clock Tower Game!! ❤️🔥
Yeah there are a bunch of games we werent able to play that ungrateful little shites take for granted these days Heres hoping oneday we'll get to play them all
Great video. My wife played this game a lot growing up while I had Resident Evil 2 on PS1. I didn't know they Remake it. I'm definitely going to tell her. 😎👍💯
Not a gimmick uploading in 4K 60fps gets me a better bandwidth and higher video quality on TH-cam . And that’s what the video is recorded and edited on . If I upload the same video at 720p it would look all fuzzy and blurry on TH-cam
@@SHNHorror I upload at 1080p and don't have that issue on TH-cam. I mean the fact of the matter is (and this is no dig against your channel because it's great!) this is just a Super Famicom rom being emulated with some extra HD bells and whistles. I strongly doubt that a game designed to run on a CRT television screen is going to look any clearer no matter what the resolution. When you have games like RE4R, SH2R and that, yes the 4K is going to greatly matter. But we're talking about a game that was made when I was still a youth. I'm forty now. There's not much else you could do to make it look better, that's why I saw it as kind of a gimmick - just for this one. I had to think for a second... "Really? A Super Famicom rom I emulated twenty years ago at 4K?" something about that seems silly. But nah, it's all good. Just the old man retro gamer over here pointing out some things the kids won't notice. Have a good one!
22:14 Bad luck and good luck. Scissor Man is waiting right outside for you and corners you, but you are able to actually fend him off. I've never played Clock Tower, but I've heard that fending off Scissor Man is very difficult to do, and requires some luck.
Not luck, just stamina. The color in the portrait background indicate how tired Jennifer is. You can rest to regain it. Its needed for fending off scissorman.
Clocktower is even more cult/niche than something like Resident Evil or Silent Hill. It would take a totally new game being successful to justify remakes. It also depends on who owns the rights for anything to happen.
i am glad that this a proper re-release, but i expected more of a semi-remake, the animation is exclusive to the intro, and not throughout the game, kinda pity, the dialogue and script feel the same with little to some improvement, although not really enough, i really hope that capcom makes a 2d 32bit remake, i dont want a 3d remake, this feels more like a extra polished DLC, but not much else, this no insult to the developers
An official release is nice but not making any real improvements or quality-of-life updates feels like a waste of money after so many years. At the very least, players should be able to switch between normal and modern arranged modes.
rewind? this is the same game that i had with the translation. when i pre order this new music the boring movie. and everything in screen that you unlocked a new movie. 50 bucks for the physical release is too much! thanks tenoke torrents that had to play this before my physical release was in my house !! you saved me 50 bucks
I honestly do not see a difference I also think the emulated SNES Version looks better which I did 9 years ago here th-cam.com/video/4HmjM8kN8xA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=B-r-E2O6BPShsbZe
Somehow I feel this game would have been much better off if it was like Castlevania Symphony of the night, or Bloodlines and had monsters to fight, some good memorable music added, and well paced boss fights, and faster gameplay. I think if it had of gone in that direction a lot more people would have been interested in playing it. The game reminds me of The Shining.
This game belongs to a very specific niche, specifically the old "Sierra On-Line Game" (sometimes called "point-and-click" games) like Space Quest, King's Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, Police Quest, etc. All those PC games from the mid 80s played nearly identical. You have to basically explore every room and acquire every possible bit of info, find all the items, and figure out what their purpose is.
@@underwaterlevelz1947 Yeah, but this one would have been a lot better if it could have gone in the Castlevania direction compared to those other games. I know they made a lot of other Clocktowers, but this one remains to be the very best. I'm just imagining how it would have looked and played if it were like Symphony of the Night and it would have been so cool like that game.
All Scissorman chases
11:28 Anne’s death
22:20 Taxidermy room
25:00 Piano room
41:40 Corpse room
57:28 Chase to the Clock Tower
I was absolutely obsessed with this game and the resulting series when I first discovered it!
I’m excited to watch this walkthrough!
This is one of best games ever. Made me pee pee in bed
Love what they did with the game a straight classic!
It's nice of them to finally give an official English translation
IM EXCITED I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!🎉🎉🎉

Never play you ever heard of emulation or rom hacks with translations some people are just so beyond the times

You wanna talk about a scary game this is it! I remember just thinking about playing this game as a kid got me nervous lol
Perfect game for Halloween!🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃 Thank you ❤️
I never thought about watching this game again. I'm fan of clock tower 3. I never played the first games
Great video. My wife played this game a lot growing up while I had Resident Evil 2 on PS1. I didn't know they Remake it. I'm definitely going to tell her. 😎👍💯
Finally, an S Ending-playthrough with Laura surviving at the end. Most of the other playthroughs I have seen have only Anne as the 2nd survivor. xD
I was hoping it would spell out "CLOCK TOWEL"
Clock Towel? Well that's not very scar-
*R*
*Flinches backwards in fear.*
Son of a-!?!
+10 points for the JonTron reference 😂
Scissorman!!
yay!!!! excited to watch
is that Mary Elizabeth Mcglynn on voicals for that into song?
yes! i immediately recognized her too, loved her in the sh3 and 4 themes
I recognized her vocals, too! 🔥 She has an unmistakable voice... My copy of SH3 for PS2 also came with the OST on CD. 🌑🧡
Indeed it is!
The First ASMR game of the world😅 i love!❤
Great game i need to play it now
Already liked it lol.
Love your videos ❤
Happy Halloween SHN!
I wish we’d get a modern, polished game in this subgenre.
Imagine if upon attacking mary with the stick, Jennifer takes the shotgun from her and turns the tables

✨Happy Halloween everyone 👹
Can't wait to get it for the PS4 on Friday from the PlayStation store
Clock Towel?
Thats now very scary....
Only when have poople doople on it. I think one my stakker ex put some on one. 😫🤧
Nice how this was released just in time for Halloween.
Just got the game the other day 😊😊😊
Happy Halloween, SHN! 💀🎃🐦⬛
I thought it was a remaster…
But it’s only a remake in 16bits color correction. Hopefully they make remaster of it.
Happy Halloween and MAKE POINT AND CLICK GAMES GREAT AGAIN
Ufo 50 does have night manor
If you play the theme song at 2x speed, it sounds like a 90s EDM track.
Look guys, I get the gimmick. But how do you 4K a game that's only 16-bit? Lol.
4k is resolution, 16 bits are graphics. Big difference between the two.
@Lord_Raptor yeah, but it won't change anything. In fact the whole game would look better on a CRT than an HD monitor period as it was made for a CRT.
@@Lord_Raptorbut he’s right. There’s no huge difference between 720p or 480p since the game uses 16 bit graphics.

Yo this give me nightmares for real no joke at all
Interesting 🤔
No Remakes for Clock Tower games, just the same old same old
This is the most this series has gotten in 2 decades so we’ll just have to take what we can get
@2bdaqueen268 Cool

Any graphic difference than snes version 😮

Seems like some of the opening cinematic got cut off.
Perfect ez clap
This clock tower is a remake of the first game right?
Didn’t this used to have some pretty gnarly live-action cutscenes?
You're probably thinking of the Windows/PlayStation version. This is the original SNES release, so it's more basic.
I need to get this one
I can't get past him,
how do you put your hands up
I injured the video game
This is my first time ever watching a Clock Tower game and... I'm just kinda confused...
Can anyone link to the really scary parts?
Wow the ugly animated intro and 4 trillion corporate logos really add to this classic.
Anime and game version
