There were 8 Gauntlet Knights who were told that Cyril was a provisional director (though one of them probably spread that info among the ninth order). Including Miyao, there were 8 Knights who knew Cyril's location (though again, that info was likely spread among the ninth order). Including Miyao, there were only 3 Gauntlet Knights that fit into both groups. Rethabile is one of them, and her actions don't make sense if she's the traitor. Cyril was killed to prevent Miyao from gaining information, but that could have been avoided if Reth had just never mentioned him in thr first place. The killer is a Gauntlet Knight, and is not Miyao. The idea of CPPs is a trap- alternate personalities do not factor into the mystery of the ninth order. To think otherwise is the same as giving in to a witch. Cyril grabbing his ear before dying is a much, much bigger hint than anyone has realized.
Rehaabile failing to shield Cyril because she was feeling conflicted and then making up a lie to justify herself is really interesting! Gives some more depth to her character
I have a theory that Tojiro and Tomitake from higurashi are one person, they both are photographs and both working in a secret police. And if it is true, how we can remember Tomitake has dating with Takano, and she is Vier Dreissing in ciconia. That means, that she is probably the mother of Miyao. What do you think about it?
I think it’s likely Reth may just be a CPP and her other personality had a role in orchestrating his assassination while her main personality didn’t remember it. Have you thought of making a video on the subtext of miyao being a trans girl?
