Why nobody filing lawsuits about this, I'm an attorney and there are causes of actions from so many angles, stunning nobody has $400 for filing fee to sue the whole crew.
I was a patreon subscriber. I definitely benefited from the 2020 quick flip era by buying the metazoo junk and selling it on ebay to (not to be rude) idiots. I was going to sell Rudy a weatherlight booster box a couple years ago. He wanted me to ship the box first, inspect it, and then he said he would pay me. I said no I am not comfortable shipping out a $1.5k item (or whatever it was worth at the time) and not getting paid beforehand. Rudy got upset and it felt to me like he was trying to pressure me into shipping out the item without being paid first even though I expressed I was not comfortable with that. It should've just been left at, okay, deal is off and that would have been it. But instead he decided to tell me that he would not do business with me ever again. That obviously was not cool. We exchanged words, and he kicked me out of his patreon lol which to this day was the best thing that ever happened to me during that time... All over a booster box and all because I guess he thinks he is important enough to receive an item before paying for it, although the rest of us are not.
The only single solitary way I'm buying a card game is if I plan on investing time to play the game. If the game was almost as fun as MTG, Pokemon or Yugioh you don't have to convince me, I'm buying hundreds of dollars worth a year. From day one Rudy treated this like a pump and dump opportunity, or pretty much like every other thing that's not his prized reserved list collection.
During the Lockdown TCG boom I remember seeing a video of someone opening a box of Metazoo they "paid" something like 80-90k for. The video was one of those channels Rudy sometimes appears on. Now I cant find the video.

Why is he talking about Weiss box prices when he actively states to be cautions about purchasing so called "dead boxes"? Instead of talking about box prices, he should be discussing case/master case prices. Those are much harder to sell than single boxes. Weiss is supposed to be "print to demand" and when more and more people get involved in Weiss because of Rudy... I wonder what will happen.

Always showing you his riches, talking about his real state, look how rich I am, this is what I do to become successful, and you could do it too. He's feeding you greed. Then makes use of his charisma to throw some empty praises at his audicence: "you are not Timmies, you are special, you are my friends". He's feeding you confidence. But no matter how much advice he gives, you cannot make use of it because he always ends up pointing you his patreon to sell you the same old crap, no option there to apply any judgement. Greedy confident people are easy targets. It's exactly the same as the cryptobros that praise NFTs with a lambo parked behind. Same old manipulation, same old scam, just a different stage to prey on card nerds. Not a gun pointed to the head, but still nauseating and wrong.
