My hubby made me one with a block of wood, he drilled a hole and I stuck a seam ripper in the hole....it works really good

I've seen those. I've also seen them made pretty much the same way but with a slot for a razor blade.

I saw your videos on the Purple Hobbies last year - purchased both the thread cutter and binding wheel - for my Florida home! I have a cutter similar to the A+ - have NEVER changed the razor blade in it - thank you for your review -- I just looked at mine - can change the blade!! I can't tell you how many years I have had this!! I usually stand up when I use it to cut apart pieces!! Thanks for a great video!!

Glad I could help. I'm not a gadget person but some of them are pretty handy. Thank you for watching!

The old gypsy quilter cutting gizmo looks exactly like the A+. I have one and like it. I would buy the purple hobbies thread cutter but I don't need 2.

They are very handy tools to have but you are right, one is all we need.

I have had the talles one, the A+ Cutter (it’s over 15 years old and the name on it is “The Cutting Gizmo” made by Gypsy Quilter). Not all single edge blades fit this. I tried several brands of blades before I found one that fit (off Amazon).

I just tried to use your Amazon connection (14.99). I went directly to Amazon and ordered it then (9.58)🤨 Binding wheel-27 dollars (all plastic) ummmm-no.
