clever, this brought back memories of when I was a Field Service Engineer and this trick worked for something like 90% of the time, but just now and again it would not go back on unless you added washing up liqued. Mr Spence Eng
@@GicaPhp Not sure about that, one of the reasons I came off the tools aged 21 was the freezing winters, where I was having to kick my tools to unfreeze them off the Ground 😑
Hi, i hate people who ask stupid questions, so i may hate myself after this, but i have a 2010, i20 comfort, would i know by touching the belt if its a stretchy or not? Thankyou :)
No question is stupid, this is how we learn. On car you will notice that there is no spring loaded tensioner or manual adjustable tensioner so stretch belt will be used. On the belt it is written elastic, elastomer, stretchy or similar names.
@@GicaPhp You won't be able to do that on 2011+ Hyundai Tucson like that. Got a video on taking out the crankshaft's bolt without special tools & muscle power not needed?
What year? I cant believe how ridiculous is is to replace the belts on a 2008 2.0L Tucson (non diesel). Theres 3 belts, i dont beleive they are stretchy and there is no tensioner. How would a guy know how much tension there is on the belt/pulleys with these models?
You always check for belt deflection. If the belt has excessive deflection, you should replace it. Normally, it is in the service manual how much deflection is allowed otherwise you just need to replace based on mileage on visual inspection of how the belt looks (cracked, shiny, cords showing)
I knew they had another skilled mechanic out here outstanding job
Thank You

Modelul asta nu are intinzatorul pe partea superioara a alternatorului.
good man
Thanks
Salut, Coud be worked with Dacia Duster 2018 1.6 sce this instalation method? Thank you in advanced.
Any stretch belt can be put this way as long there single pulley 😉
Nice install
Glad you like it
How come there is no tensioner, or aren’t they using it?
They are using elastic belts, less moving parts
Salut. Merge schimbata cureaua exact ca in videoclip la un Hyundai i10 2010 PA 1.1 67 cp ? Mersi
Salut, daca este curea elastica, da, merge
Can this method also be applied to the Hyundai i30 2010 1.4?
as long as it is a strech belt, it will

Ce Hyundai este, ce motor? Are intinzator hidraulic?
i10, i20 nu au intinzator, este doar cureaua elastica

Sometimes they rip tho, depending
I have never ripped one, yet :D
what car is this?
Hyundai
what about the timing??
this car has a timing chain, and if you want to change it, no special tools need it, just a torque wrench
