I personally owned an angler ss the first year it came out, I oringally had a 12v power drive that I added a 2nd battery to it, and it would work all day with both batteries, no issues. However, I did end up upgraded to a 24v powerdrive with ipilot, the extra thrust LBS was much better in wind or rough waters. So, long story short, if your primary focus is trolling and plan to do a lot of it, go with the 24v. If you're only trolling from time to time, the boat is light enough a 12v would work.
I have a Fury XL Tiller and an Angler 1650. The Fury XL has a bigger battery compartment that facilitates a 24v system. The Angler 1650 requires you to eat up storage space. My only complaint about the boat. Still, 24v is the way to go.

What would you recommend for trolling all day for like catfish 12v or a 24v for that boat

It'll depend on options as far as how its ordered from the factory, plus any dealer options. You're going to average in the 25-26k price range.
I got mine, Garmin 9”, Terrova i-pilot 80#/24v, and an extra seat for $26k.
