    I moved to Florida 13 years ago and my first apartment was in Sanford Landing. Moved to Lake Mary and now I'm back in Sanford. "Red headed stepchild" is definitely fitting for people who don't live here. Sometimes I wish it would stay like that because real estate is so expensive now. Thanks for showing how beautiful this town really is.

    It's amazing how much it has changed in the last 20 years. It used to basically be Willow Tree downtown and little else.

    WOW the City of Sanford should give you a sponsorship. I’ve been living in Seminole County my ENTIRE Adult life and I had no idea there was this much to do in Sanford.

    Thanks for the in-depth tour of your Beautiful City and or town etc… My family visits Florida kid resorts in the Summer. I enjoy researching the cities nearby. We have to come check Sanford out sometimes. Being it Carries my family name lol! 🏝 🏖

      @@peggyscott66 It's not the best area, but not terrible. Accordingly, it's one of the lower priced areas.

    Thank you for a great video! Is it a calm place to live ( I mean, criminal activity)? Is the police presence there?

    • @reallivinginorlandoflorida7335
      @reallivinginorlandoflorida7335  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks, Margo. There is definitely police presence in Sanford. Criminal activity is limited to just a few sections. You just need to know which ones to avoid.

    Did Markham woods stop being "unincorporated Seminole county"?

    • @reallivinginorlandoflorida7335
      @reallivinginorlandoflorida7335  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sean, all of the Markham Woods Road corridor is still unincorporated Seminole County, but with Longwood, Lake Mary, and Sanford addresses.

    Looking to move to Sanford.
    What does $650,000 get me for a home in a safe good school Neibor hood.

      Helped a client buy a house in Sanford at that very price two months ago. They got 3,600 s.f. 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath with a very nice pool on a 1/2 acre + lot in a small gated community. House had average fit and finish. With more custom finishes, you wouldn't get that much square footage for $650,000. That price buys more today than it did a year ago, for sure.
