Like regular folks have their best song, I think professional singers also have their best ones. She makes it look and sound so captivating AND natural.
In this concert, she can't use her body to portray Carmen, so she needs to depend upon only her face and her voice, resulting of the sexiest vocal performance in the history of humanity!

I don't know what's outstanding about Maria Callas? I really prefer Elina Garanca because she is a true Mezzo and this is an outstanding performance (look how small Dudamel is compared to Elina)! There is also an exceptional recording by Victoria de los Angeles (also IMHO far better than Callas)!
Elina was Virginia Zeani's student and this can be seen in the impeccable and brilliant style of singing and in the manner of performing the role in a superlative way.
