What an absolutely stunning table! There is so often much beauty in simplicity and you achieved that. This was an enjoyable video for all reasons but it was also heartwarming for me as my grandfather, an immigrant from England in the early 1900s who entered through Ellis Island, was a potter and eventually worked for the Homer Laughlin Pottery Company. Pottery was his passion along with gardening and fishing. In his time he made some really beautiful pieces, 2 of which were boudoir lamps made for the governor’s mansion in Ohio where they still remain and he made one more pair like them for his home. At 62 yrs old I’m surprised I never got into making pottery as I really love it. Maybe someday, lol.
You have such great stories to tell your grandchildren, like, "I shaped my wedding plates Om my own" . Wow!!! This is soo soo sooooooooo awesome. Wishes for you.

I saw a potter do this on Jericho Israel back in 1980. I thought how beautiful. And yes tedious. Which is probably why I never took this up as a hobby. I am now 65 and Still plan on taking a pottery class. Thank you! This has once again prodded me to DO IT! And loved the analogy. ❤

That being that they are a dynamic being, just like how clay in certain shapes, forms and types don't always react the same as they are being shaped so children being raised by even the most loving parents are!
