Hi, in the uk the rtr element is 130 dollars cheaper than the trx4 sport rtr. I cant decide which one to get, taking the difference in price would it make the element a no brainer?
Im really curious how the newer element stuff compares to the trx4 sport now. id love to see a comparison between the trx4 sport and element ecto personally!
Very informative review and seemed unbiased- I enjoy your reviews because you rarely bad mouth any product/brand. I’ve been following your channel for quite a while and your reviews are excellent, but I would appreciate more step-by-step video on upgrades. For instance you talk about over/under gearing on the TRX, but a detailed video showing the parts required and then steps on how to install would be very helpful. Thanks for all the good info.
Hard hitting no nonsense, love it! Not the outcome I was hoping for, but the chips fall where they may. I have based my last 3 purchase’s on your reviews and have not been disappointed, so thank you for saving me from myself and a little bit of money too! Your word is Bourne, your following is growing and I hope when the big boys come calling and I suspect if they aren’t they will be soon that you don’t sell out. Stay true brother, your the dopest voice out there right now!
I own neither of these but had already decided that on my limited budget, the TRX4 Sport kit would be my next crawler. This video confirms my choice. My first "proper" RC car was an RC12E so I have a lot of affection for the brand, but for pure performance the TRX has it. I don't think people should forget that this (the Enduro) is a new car and still a WIP,the TRX has been developed over time to get where it is,I'm sure the Element will do the same, but at the cost of the purchasers pocket....excellent video again the best.
thanks buddy. Yes, we grew up with Associated. This one still has bugs to work out but it is a better value and will wake up the whole crawler industry.
A few of our Element RC steering bolts were not torqued properly and caused a bit of steering play. We tightened everything up and got 115 cm of steering diameter. A little bit better. So check all your steering bolts cause it limits steering. There is still a bit of flex in the shock towers and panhard that hurts steering diameter a bit. The vehicle is hard to trim straight. It seems to veer toward the direction where it last turned.
Notices that as well, the straight tracking, after I tightened up things. Seems the truck likes it loose. Could be the the servo, though its the best rtr servo yet, still lacks enough of something to return to center fully.

I just picked up an Enduro, I’m not sure if I like the angled bash plate on the front of the IFS. Last night I did a hike n crawl in Suzana pass mtns and it repeatedly gets hung up at that fr axle area . My Axial AX-10 Skorpian with 2.2 rims had a lot more capable in sleuce pit. However the realistic ness of the Element Enduro is boss, I like the IFS except for the lower front clearance,(just got to choose smoother lines.
Great review. Nothing against traxxas but their technical stuff just never adds up to Team Associated. Been an AE racer and basher since 1989. Also a collector of vintage RC. Traxxas had my vote until i seen the Enduro and decided to buy it few months ago. Again great review
I am usually an anti traxxas guy but I have to admit the trx4 is insanely capable and and very durable easily traxxas most durable RC. I have the Bronco and sport trx4, I used to have a gen8 that was pretty good too just not as durable as the trx4 but pretty capable and I've had 2 axial scx10ii that were good but only after some upgrades like shocks and things. I really think my next crawler is going to be an element but I'm having a tough time deciding between the sendero, trailwalker or trailrunner lol.
RC Review, RC Review..... Another OUTSTANDING review! I wasn't at first impressed with the TRX-4 (Defender). In fact I acquired a Gen-8 prior to purchasing my first TRX-4 (Chassis kit), now I own three (Bronco-kit, sport-kit, Defender-RTR in that order lol) HWY-1 were the first to help me realize the capabilities of the TRX-4 and your vids have been driving the point home since! I also own Axials, HPI and Vaterra crawlers, the TRX are my hands down favorites! The Element is another great option l, but there is only one king! Thanks again, for the informative reviews.
My brother just got the new trx4 bronco. I am considering the enduro knightwalker. Is the comparison here similar to those new models? Would you do a video on those newer models?? Thanks!
Nice comparison and non bias. I have a TRX-4 and just purchased the Element because of the good comments that I read in various reviews and was curious. I changed out the bumpers first off, replaced front and rear diff covers with brass and changed most of the plastic parts to the hard plastic upgraded available. Also trimmed the wheel wells some and added nice decals available on Amazon specifically for the body. Still waiting on two out of stock hard plastic parts though. Changing out the ESC as well. Working on a Killer body after I seen one you speculated on.
Are these useable in the snow? I'm a dirty freestyle drone guy but I've been looking for something to do in the winter. Crawlers appeal to me more than racers since I'm more laid back and not competitive. A local hobby guy reccomended both these models and I'm so torn on which one to get.
I own both trucks. I bought both as soon as they hit the market. I've driven both trucks box stock on the exact same trail and rocks. They are so close it's not funny, really it would come down to personal choice. Quality wise my Element was damaged and packaged that way. The Sport had no issues. If you leave the front bumper on the Element it performs poorly and would get beat by a lot of trucks. The motor is much smoother and quieter than the Sport but like RCREVIEW said reverse is super touchy and difficult to master. Tires about the same the more you run them the better they get. The portals and overdrive cancel each other out on my trails. The Element body is super thin, like break on the first run thin so I taped the inside of mine to strengthen it. As far as this videos assessment I agree the Sport has a minute advantage. Either truck is a great choice and I think this debate will go on and on lol.
Not rooting for Traxxas, Element either. But I figured it was going to be a tough call in the end. If you know your trails, you will be able to decide which is more suitable. As it is, I kind of hoped that the Element would do better, especially in the turn radius. Really is going to come down to personal preference, Traxxas haters will be all over the Sendero claiming it to be better of course. Personally I don't like the Sport body, the Sendero gets my vote, but looks like it will have to be replaced sooner. Element has some catching up to do and the 3rd party support is going to be a key player for the success of this vehicle. So, Sport needs a better servo, and overdrive front diff (maybe), some time spent cleaning the windows or new unpainted body. Sendero, tires, esc (HW1080), bumpers or mod them, and body sooner. Cost for modifications is pretty close to each other so that doesn't help tip the scale, really is going to come down to style over performance. And don't get me going on the "portals aren't scale", maybe not stock but they do make them and get installed on 1:1 rigs. Enjoyed every minute and it was an eye opener to realizing the the Sport really is tough to beat.
@@RTmadnesstoo its been three weeks and the Element is now in the hands of the common man. The Element Enduro Facebook page is pretty full of the other issues being found and how they are being addressed. Let's just say that the Sendero is finally performing well, but having the growing pains that the Redcat Scout also experienced.
Yes Good Informative Content, I have been running my enduro for a few days and the one thing that keeps coming to mind is the Precise and calculated Precision performance of the Sendero-
Just bought a New TRX4 and the very next day....picked up a used TRX4 with Traxxas Charger and 2 Traxxas batteries for $240, Excellent Crawlers. The Element will undoubtedly be my next purchase, I’m hoping very soon!
maybe. What will work for sure is controlling the expo curve or the sensitivity of the reverse. That might affect the forward movement though which is already perfect.
Was looking to get the Enduro, but no one in Norway sells this car yet and by the looks of it the TRX-4 Sport is a better choice. Now, that being said, do you know the travel on the stock servo on TRX-4 Sport? With the TX/RX/ESC included you can't switch to a Savox 1210SG without swapping all the electronics due to no adjusting the maximum angle on the servo. So to keep the stock electronic, the only way to upgrade the servo is to go with the Traxxas 2255? My brother tried to install the 1210SG in a stock TRX-4 Sport and it twisted the whole front axle. Got any tips for a servo besides the 2255, or do I need to change it all up?
You guys are the best, most honest channel on the Tube. Have you ever thought about doing a series on actually setting these rigs up as they would be for comps? Class 1 and 2 with scale points etc. I would be super interested in seeing that. The TRX4 sports at my local comps dont seem to perform that well. Your results would be interesting.
Wow my choice got harder, yet easier. A TRX Sport builder kit is only $280 which leaves room for an optimal ESC and motor combo. I still want to give that Enduro a try though. Your review was the transparent and honest info I expected and left very little room for doubt. Thank you as always. ...... And to whoever claimed the driving style compromised the comparo, he explained the Associated’s “embarrassing” drivability issue at the start of the video. 👍🏼🏁💯💯💯
RC Review Its hard to argue with the steering radius, my SCX10 is atrocious. Plus I already have Beadlocked PitBulls and Hyrax tire sets. Thank you again! 🤙🏼
I'm far from a fan boy... But the TRX-4 is a solid well thought out machine, always will be.. I quite like the body shell... thinking of putting it onto my SCX10-3 lol....... though the SCX-10 and the Sendero etc are epic RC's too... with a few mods they get awfully close... in the end... it's what we love and the mateship we all share..... Side note: The Traxxas X-Maxx makes the ultimate crawler..... just sayin' lol.
I love your channel...you helped me pick the trx4 sport...i absolutely love it...I took the bumpers off like you said and it's a huge difference..your info is top notch my friend...!!!!!
Also should have used the enduros 11.8% OD in this Dave off as it’s included in the box...🙄 would have helped with the turning radius, climbing and descending.
I agree. What says it all to me is Traxxas hooked their shocks up properly (only Vanquish has also done this) in a double sheer setup. It's getting old when companies keep screwing the shock tops into a flat surface and preventing proper shock articulation or causing binding.
Have to believe that this is your most concise comparison test to date. You really hit the important points. You are my hero! Because I have positive feelings about Associated/Element, I will build up one of the Elements from the kit when it becomes available. Looking forward to you "developing" the Element down the road. Only one question comes to mind...What batteries and placements did you use for each vehicle in the showdown? Full-size, shorties, other? Thanks again.
@@RCReviewChannel Yeah it's tough to source trucks here if you don't live near a shop. I have to order from across the country or from China. Importing from the US is brutally expensive.
Fair, balanced, and honest (even tho' my chassis lost). That said, I went with the Trailwalker (subsequently released and AFTER AE dropped the price) which fixes the Sendero body/bumper shortcomings. The TW 1.5s are too small and hard, but everyone switches anyway (don't they?) and the go-kart wheels and tires fit nicely on a 1/12 vehicle of mine. Thanks again for the great comparison.
Great Review! I liked your newer editing style where you put the testing footage at the end instead of top of your review. Keep up the great work. Quick ? - Should I go with the TRX4 sport or Trx4 if money is not an issue? The sport looks awesome and you declare it king, so for most folks are the additional 2 gear transmission and lock/unlock diffs fun but not really necessary? In another words is there any place a trx4 can go that the trrx4 sport can't go?
this is why i love this channel. No bullshit! The problem with the element's reverse is the 75/25 throttle position the stock controller comes with. Even with the new axe gen8 coming out I still think i'm gonna opt for the element as my second rig. It'll go nice wit my trx4 sport.
I notice you don't mention departure ,approach and ramp over angles in the comparisons..maybe something to include in your comparo's for next time. Also suspension travel differences like which one has more flex in the front and rear.
What did you mean when you went to the Proline tires and said, 'Heavier tires on the front'? You never mentioned how the two compare in weight or maybe I missed it. Watching them drive it appears that the Traxxas weighs more but that could be the shock/suspension setup.
The Enduro is still very interesting to me. If I wasn’t still enjoying my Gen8, I think this is the one I’d go for. The clever tricks and original thinking in the design are very appealing...and no offense to the Sport but the Enduro body looks way better to my eye. That’s more important than I like to admit. :)
Ive watched this video 3 times. Its amazing what aftermarket tires will do! What compound do you use on the hyrax? Also are those red beadlocks from xtra speed? One more thing I promise lol. Is the bumper on the sendero the yeah racing stinger for the scx10 and trx4?
Great review, but I have a question about one of the test. Is it possible that the radio transmitter setting was not allowing the servo the fully turn during the steering diameter test on the Enduro trail truck? Your test indicate a average turning diameter of 57.87 inches. That is more than the original SXC10 turning diameter and 143% of my tuned SCX10 II. Please re test the Enduro turning diameter. Many Thanks
Speaking as an owner, nope, the ESC cannot be adjusted. Not sure if Francis meant to say better "ESC" at 9:11 or not, but either one is correct. A different tx (with lots of settings) does in fact help. I am running the stock ESC motor combo with a DX5C. I have a HW 1080 in my parts drawer, but no longer see the need for it in this vehicle.
Awesome review once again! It would've really surprised me to see Element beat Traxxas right out of the gate. They better keep keep their eye on the ball though. For Elements 1st entry into the crawling market, I would have to say they did quite well. Still surprises me that they didn't at least offer a portal axle option.
Can you do a video, or tell me how, on how to adjust sensitivity going backwards with a 415 DX5C? I have a Gen 8 Scout, and it has the same problem as the Element, reserve is TOO fast. I can't seem to figure out how to reduce sensitivity in reverse, otherwise I like the Scout. Thanks!
Great review as always. I would be interrested to see what you thing of a lesser brand like RGT. They have that RGT EX86100 PRO Kit around… is it any good against the big boys? Thanks again.
We don't see that around here. We have a review of an MST with portals coming up. We find small brands have a lot of play in the drivetrain and steering. No upgrades or mods too.
Luv the vids keep it up enjoying them I don’t think you will ever find another truck to knock off the king oh and thx great info on all the trucks might wait for the kit edition for the element I wish it had portals I think it would make it a better truck once again thx for all your info it is very helpful.
When the element RC came out, I thought it would be a lot better than the test has proved based on the over/underdrive. I like the element RC though. Something about it I like but can't put my finger on it. I have the TRX Bronco and I love it!, but if I ever get another crawler, it is between the element and the axial scx10-2. The Axial looks like my real 1 to 1 except mine is black. The Element looks a lot like a Ford Ranger. Either way, I haven't found a "bad" RC that is produced today. It just comes down to a few things. Availability of the RC and spare parts, cost, body, chassis, and the gadgetry such as multispeed and lockers. I think the Transmitter and receiver brand might also help or offset the purchase
I was just thinking can you do the turning radius test again but on grass or dirt. The enduro has really good traction and I don’t think the pavement sidewalk test is fair because of the surface or do it on dirt but with the same exact tires on both trucks
Worn cement is a good media for testing, if your taking the rigs on rocks, rarely will you have great traction and testing the rigs while turning on a surface like cement will clue to the performance. Turn radius does matter when crawling, you have to be able to turn and make it on to that next rock. I have a favorite place for testing mine before hitting the trail, the surface is so close to the rock faces on the hill that I am able to tell if work needs done before heading out. My test spot is a 51 degree cement embankment 6' high. The Sport made it without any modifications but with a slight twisted three wheel ascent, the Sendero makes the approach (with new bumpers), but just sits at the bottom spinning the tires. Even after putting the Canyon's on the Sendero, it was the same. It lacks the weight of the Sport and couldn't force enough grip to ascend. The General's wouldn't grip that well on the Sport either, partial ascents and then just start sliding down.
In some of the climbing on rocks I noticed that you were easy on the throttle on the trx4 and in the element you seemed to be less predictable with the throttle and were not easing into it as you did the traxxas.... about 3/4 through the video.... it is very very noticable! not exactly fair as I am a crawler and can notice that stuff. Easy throttle wins most of the time. You seemed to make the element loose traction at times purposely. Starts at 19:50 aprox. Like the channel
On the Element, we had so many failed attempts that some of the video clips might look like we are throttling hard. That's not the case we start out attempt one and two at a very slow identical pace. On attempts 5-10,, where you might see some Element coverage on the video, you might see more throttle used. Sorry for the confusion.
@@RCReviewChannel I can't help but think that you have driven the TRX4 over these same rocks many times so you just automatically take the proven line while you are just now trying to find the line for the Enduro. Or so it seems. Maybe after the same amount of stick time things would look different.
Great video, a well done comparison both are realy nice trucks but i still want the axial scx10 2 honcho thats my dream rc truck... i know that is not as good but i realy love the honcho since that grey one that i fall in love with it...
I always thought the real fun is getting a rig, no matter how capable or expensive, to perform or climb better than you think it should.😎 Great rigs, both look like a good time.
Just had another independent hobby firm duplicate the Steering Diameter test between the TRX4 and Enduro trucks. You for sure have a "Blunder of Testing" in your results. The Enduro does turn much sharper than the TRX4. I have neither of those vehicles but, I do have SCX10's and SCX10 ii's to compare with. Based on other You Tube examples between the Axial and Traxxas products, I believe you test results for the TRX4 are correct.
@@RCReviewChannel I cheated and bought it at my LHS (good guy) together with the light kit. He'll instaló it for me for $30. I just don't have the time to do it myself because of my busy work schedule. Hehe
@@RCReviewChannel Well one of the shocks on the axial is leaking. I'll have to send Horizon Hobby a message about that. I experienced this with my Arrma granite 4x4 BLX too. Interesting. I'll see if the trx4 sport gives me any trouble out the box. I hope not.
Is the trx4 really built like a tank? People say trx4 portal input gear is like pot metal. First thing to break and expensive to upgrade. Element has some plastic gears in the transmission but their probably cheaper and easier to upgrade than Input gear in 4 corners of the car. People who bashes element gatekeeper say it takes more punishment than axial wraith, bomber and capra. I'm not convinced a kit with portal axles takes the same punishment. I still don't own any of these. Just researching for my next purchase. I'm looking for more basher, stock crawling performance isn't that important to me. I'm considering gmade gs02f, element gatekeeper, and trx4 sport.
@@RCReviewChannel I am struggling on deciding which route to take as in which kit to buy. I will likely mod it over time but I worry about discovering after I make the move that I went the wrong route.
Just got my first car.I was debating between trx4 sport and the sendouro but the picked the Traxxas than watched this video and I am glad I made the right choice
So after i have see some of your videos i must say that trx 4 sport, is one of the most capable or the most capable scale truck. Climps very easy , i am very impressed about this vehicle.
Nice video, you are really good at comparing, i have an axial and i can hang with the trx, son in law has one. we crawl rock faces on water fall. at the end of the day the trx has it going on
The main difference I see in the video, are the tires. Every now and then the portal axles come to play. Am I right? It looks like pretty much same capabilities except for portal clearance
steering, modulation and the TRX-4 is more planted in loose stuff or in very technical climbs. Sendero does very well on steep slabs. They are very close though and in a league of their own.
They make Traxxas to Deans (ETC.) Connectors and I regularly use one without issue. I have SCX10, SCX10.2’s a couple TRX4 Sports, and hopefully very soon an Element Enduro. I crawl with a group of guys with every imaginable vehicle you could think of. The truth is they all do well. The Element has my attention as I’ve seen it in the wild many times and it’s a great performer.
Why was the element not equipped with the 11.8% overdrive that comes in the box? Would have actually made it a much more fair fight in not only turning radius, but climbing/descending and reducing torque twist... all pretty important factors.

Excellent analysis!
@@TerraQuestRC Too bad I don't facebook
Yes very good analysis.
This probably has to be the most intelligent, unbiased reply that I've seen to a head-to-head comparison of any vehicles.
Yes Good Informative Content, I have been running my enduro for a few days and the one thing that keeps coming to mind is the Precise and calculated Precision performance of the Sendero-
Precision is a good term for it. Shows their racing heritage.
Thank you so much for your reviews. Very helpful. Can you tell me what the bumpers are that you put on the element? Thanks again
hey quick question do you prefer 1.9 over 2.2 tires?
What stinger bumper is that on the sendero
When you gonna review the HD?
Just bought a New TRX4 and the very next day....picked up a used TRX4 with Traxxas Charger and 2 Traxxas batteries for $240, Excellent Crawlers. The Element will undoubtedly be my next purchase, I’m hoping very soon!
Wouldn't replacing the esc fix the reverse issue and not the radio/receiver?
with a decent radio you can limit your reverse to whatever you desire
maybe. What will work for sure is controlling the expo curve or the sensitivity of the reverse. That might affect the forward movement though which is already perfect.
@@RCReviewChannel in a 5 point throttle curve you can change only the point in the curve you desire. No need to adjust the forward, only reverse
Hi man thanks for the videos, I ordered the element after watching your videos !
TRX-4 builders kit for sure. Can sell that bed rack for $40. Can weight the tires and mod them for amazing performance.
Glad I could help
What front bumper is on the Element?
You gonna review the axial scx10 base camp?
@21:00 the sport had no bumpers and the Enduro did. Wonder if the Enduro would've done better with no bumpers.
For sure. Mine does way better with just the bumpers flipped, new holes drilled to posts to pull rear bumper in even further.
Also should have used the enduros 11.8% OD in this Dave off as it’s included in the box...🙄 would have helped with the turning radius, climbing and descending.
@@northsandiegorc3276 He said he put the 12% overdrive in it and tried it with that, too.
@@tgjaedan but he didn't use it in the shoot out...
I agree. What says it all to me is Traxxas hooked their shocks up properly (only Vanquish has also done this) in a double sheer setup. It's getting old when companies keep screwing the shock tops into a flat surface and preventing proper shock articulation or causing binding.
What would be your first upgrade for the element?
Great Review! I still bought the Element. :-D
still a great vehicle!!! We're lucky to have it in the crawler space as it will push every manufacturer to offer more.
So did I.
Think my next one will be the element too
Have to believe that this is your most concise comparison test to date.
Excellent video. The Enduro is on sale here in Canada, although still costs more than a TRX4 Sport.
Oh wow! International pricing is crazy sometimes. Throws off the value proposition.
@@RCReviewChannel Yeah it's tough to source trucks here if you don't live near a shop. I have to order from across the country or from China. Importing from the US is brutally expensive.
What is the front bumper of the Enduro. Traxxas TRX4 front bumpers fits on the enduro front bumper mount?
TRX4 is my favorite. Especially the K5 Blazer version.
Best vs videos on TH-cam.
Excellent breakdown on the pros and cons. I'm going to be interested in how the Element truck evolves.now that is in the hands of the customers.
Yup. We're hearing a lot of little issue. No big ones though. This version 1.0 is pretty darn good. Better than any current more expensive Axial.
In another words is there any place a trx4 can go that the trrx4 sport can't go?
that's great feedback. Thank you!!!
this is why i love this channel. No bullshit! The problem with the element's reverse is the 75/25 throttle position the stock controller comes with. Even with the new axe gen8 coming out I still think i'm gonna opt for the element as my second rig. It'll go nice wit my trx4 sport.
They're both so close. Element is more flexible. TRX4 is more robust.
I notice you don't mention departure ,approach and ramp over angles in the comparisons..maybe something to include in your comparo's for next time. Also suspension travel differences like which one has more flex in the front and rear.
does element rc suffers torque twist?
What did you mean when you went to the Proline tires and said, 'Heavier tires on the front'?
You never mentioned how the two compare in weight or maybe I missed it. Watching them drive it appears that the Traxxas weighs more but that could be the shock/suspension setup.
One of the best reviews ever !
much appreciated!!!!
Would you give the gen 8 3rd? Your review of it is y got one 3 days ago..lol
Most folks get interested because of the body, like real cars. Hey, we're in 'scale trail' category after all.
I'm going to get both trucks ...I have a Axial scx10 2 Trailblazer ..I want these two and the Ford F - 350 with a trailer YesYes by the summer!!
Thank u and in my trx 4 defender I want to do upgrades to it but I am a noob and just was looking for alil help for it
Ive watched this video 3 times. Its amazing what aftermarket tires will do! What compound do you use on the hyrax? Also are those red beadlocks from xtra speed? One more thing I promise lol. Is the bumper on the sendero the yeah racing stinger for the scx10 and trx4?
Always predator compound. The beadlocks are proline Method wheels
I agree but If only associated made portal axles it could have been killer don't know why they did not go to the new in thing and went old school?
They wanted to give a great package for the non-portal crowd. And they wanted to hit that $350 price point
Great video thanks. I have some ideas for fixing the reverse on the Element. Let you know if it works.
Please let us know. New ESC seems to be the main option.
@@RCReviewChannel I will, thanks for all the great info and video's🏁👻👍
Is the wheelbase the same on these trucks?
both 12.3 inches
Great review, but I have a question about one of the test. Is it possible that the radio transmitter setting was not allowing the servo the fully turn during the steering diameter test on the Enduro trail truck? Your test indicate a average turning diameter of 57.87 inches. That is more than the original SXC10 turning diameter and 143% of my tuned SCX10 II. Please re test the Enduro turning diameter. Many Thanks
Will do. Will retest for sure. Will check toe-in too. It’s a high traction surface as well
Could you change the ESC in the Enduro to maybe program less power to the reverse gear?
Speaking as an owner, nope, the ESC cannot be adjusted. Not sure if Francis meant to say better "ESC" at 9:11 or not, but either one is correct. A different tx (with lots of settings) does in fact help. I am running the stock ESC motor combo with a DX5C. I have a HW 1080 in my parts drawer, but no longer see the need for it in this vehicle.
NaturallyRC oh ok, thank for the info
Awesome review once again! It would've really surprised me to see Element beat Traxxas right out of the gate. They better keep keep their eye on the ball though. For Elements 1st entry into the crawling market, I would have to say they did quite well. Still surprises me that they didn't at least offer a portal axle option.
Have you tried the RC4WD vehicles??
No but a few in our group have them. So pricey and more for scale than performance.
The only reason why Team Associated made the body so thin was so it was light, this makes it less top heavy and a better performer
Nah the reason was to make it cheaper to produce for the RTR model. If you buy the clear version of the body, it's actually a thicker plastic.
@@ctsteve1967 that doesnt make sense to me. I dont understand what you are refferijg to.
Buddy of mine just installed the 10.2 front axle in his sendaro. Likes the overdrive much better. Just a side thought. Great video as always
Are you in San Diego? Linda Vista SD? Looking at getting one of these for my boys and looking for places to go. Thanks.
No. San Jose, CA
There’s Torrey pines glider port, lake wohlford, Elfin forest, Del cerro, mission trails...
I think the Transmitter and receiver brand might also help or offset the purchase
great options for us now!!
550 with portal gear reduction vs 540 with over-under mod diffs, but you're an experienced crawler SMH
I always thought the real fun is getting a rig, no matter how capable or expensive, to perform or climb better than you think it should.😎 Great rigs, both look like a good time.
i think you captured our spirit there. Get good rigs to do more! And have fun trying.
It's been said reversing the polarity of the motor on the associated fixes reverse alot

Excellent review, but love my Element Enduro!!!
Thanks for the honest unbiased review
I always watch in 1.5x speed. Love your stuff. Just don’t have 30 min to watch lol
That silver and black blazer in the video was CLEAN look really nice
Which truck has the better shocks ‘real world’ in your opinion?
They both have amazing shocks right out of the box
I think the Enduro felt just a little better when I crawled compared to my TRX4 Tactical but both are great stock!
I went with the trx4 sport. It will be the companion for my axial scx10 II blazer. Thanks.
Good call. Durability and performance king
Thanks for sharing..you do a great shootout format
Right on. Our goal is to guide the buyer to the right vehicle for them.

So after i have see some of your videos i must say that trx 4 sport, is one of the most capable or the most capable scale truck. Climps very easy , i am very impressed about this vehicle.

I have trx4 blazer. Can it be trimmed down to be a sport in every aspect, or are there some differences that only the sport possesses
Great review but who wants to leave it stock the TRX-4 has a lot of upgrades.
Here in UK the TRX-4 Sport RTR is $511 and the Element is $381.25. Quite a difference!
That's crazy!
This is a really good unbiased review.. the Element is probably just abit more to get there

doesnt really change my mind... already have the Element.. LOL I may pick up the Traxxas at some point.. but the ID system really puts me off
Just get the sport kit, add your own electrics
Put a hobby wing system in it
The ID is a problem? I have yet to run a single ID battery on my Traxxas esc's. Adapters or solder new Deans or XT60 plugs.
The Element has my attention as I’ve seen it in the wild many times and it’s a great performer.
guess you can't solder LOL since we're doing the LOL LOL
Truly great insight. What would you say are the weaknesses of the Element RC Enduro Sendero? Love that we have another great choice now.
Why was the element not equipped with the 11.8% overdrive that comes in the box? Would have actually made it a much more fair fight in not only turning radius, but climbing/descending and reducing torque twist... all pretty important factors.
