- hi guys! i'm so happy i was finally able to make this after 4 years of watching these reaction vids :)
*applied for everything as a business major/business schools (and undeclared in the college of L&S for UCLA and UCSB)*
i applied to a total of 18 schools (many safeties idk why lol), but i just basically included my target/reach schools in this video

How long do you have to wait for their final descision if you get put on the wait list?
@@waterhead001 it really depends, like some people find out really soon after they get waitlisted, and others wait for months (some schools even wait til august/september sometimes to let you know). but usually they will keep you updated and say if they're still accepting spots

I go there rn and I can't say if I like it or if I hate it because this semester was whack and it sucked. But I will say that the teaching was generally amazing af. Good luck and roll tribe!

It's so amazing that you got into Cal. Sad thing is they only guarantee 1 year of housing. UCLA does 3 guaranteed years so I'm so happy right now.

These College Reaction Videos, Stanford is by far the one school that rejects the most .... MIT & Harvard both close second
oh do not cry if a college reject you. You have to believe that if a college accepts you that mean they need you and they want you and loves you. You accept a college because you love them and you want them. Colleges do not define who you are or where you truly belong. I accept by my dream university in ottawa not just because i have better grade or background. There are more people who have better grade and more qualify than me. It is somehow luck. If they do not accept me, then i will not cry. You know what, they dont see the value out of you, you should not waste your tears on them
congrats on getting into your dream school! it was hard for me because ucla was my dream/top and i got waitlisted, and i had no idea where else i wanted to go. it was in the heat of the moment and after i cooled i explained how grateful i was to be even waitlisted :) thank you for your words of kindness

no, but it's generally around late march-early april though
@@florencesun. oh! Do they just like ...email you? I like am trying to come up with colleges I really want to apply too and now I like cant stop thinking about it 😂 it literally kept me up all night it's a non stop thought that like will not fleet my mind
@@sandymarshall9764 basically after you apply, once they have your decision ready (ivy day for ivies), they generally email you to check your portal status update (decision letter).
you'll definitely find colleges you like quite naturally! i didn't realize my top school until july before senior year haha. i know it's difficult to do right now, but college visits and virtual tours help you get a feel of the campus, and do lots of research etc! i completely understand how you feel, but don't stress! the college process may be demanding but it's extremely rewarding in the end :)
