Red Dead Redemption 2 Gold Bar Glitch for Story Mode.
Hey Guys, In this video I am going to show you a method where you can get gold bars easily from Limpany. In this method, We will see the glitch with Arthur Morgan.
This Gold bar glitch will work on all platforms (PC, XBOX, PS4,PS5)

Nice, I remember the original gold bar glitch from the games 1st week release at this same location. At that time you could just infinitely do this glitch and I have a playthrough that I saved from that time where I have $100,000 and 30 gold bars in my satchel. So now that is just my “no-autosave, raise hell,” saved game lol rich asf and super dishonorable
Haha same but the glitch I used, all you had to do was Rubbeband the pickup button down and wait a few hrs. I got 80000 left after buying everything. Now I just gamble and cause chaos
@AbdelazizziIfghaswaniJafari yea the grind to get it back will take a long time but there’s other glitches that will get you there, just not as easy as picking up 15 gold bars at a time in one saved game easy lol i’m testing out other glitches in another saved game
It's so dumb they patch this stuff. Back in the old days they had cheat codes and glitches and no one cared they didn't fix it on some new version of the game. I don't understand why they do this. It's stupid a.f.
I remember when the game came out you can pick up unlimited bars here in the same spot I had 40,000 in the first few missions but they patched it in about a week 😂

If you download the game with your disc with WiFi off you can do the glitch until you have that 40k again and then download the updates
@@elijahjohnston3172 to be fair I still have "40 gold bars for Arthur chapter 2" save file tho, but only for PS4. I'd like to share the file but don't know where and how
I can confirm this works 5/5/24 on Xbox series X. This glitch gives me a throwback to the greatest gold bar glitch of all time back when the game first launched in this same spot

I play this game on the disk and have never had my PS4 online. Were I to connect it to the 'net, would my RDR2 receive lots of patches without me asking for them? Thanks.
Yup it will update before you play the game so I will tell you that don't update your game like don't go online and try to do limpany gold bar glitch it will load you with unlimited gold bars then after that go online and update your game
I managed to snatch 4-5 gold bars by now even in the latest version of the game as Arthur

Followed everything and yes the pamphlet disappears... But you don't get unlimited bars, as soon as i pick up that one that's it. (Im on pc, current build)

It only works one time
This does not work on PC because the PC version lock box does not have the pamphlet, I believe the recipe is automatically given in the game or you can buy it somewhere else.......So there is no way to make the glitch work on PC since the glitch is dependent upon 2 items being in the box at the same time......

Is there a way to respawn the gold Bar if you've already taken it before, or no?
I think it respawns after some in game time, like 100-200 hours in game
It didn't respawn for me until I went to the next chapter.

Mate ive just done this and its letting me lift 30 gold bars at once. They keep spawning again once i lift one. Then i go to sell them to the fence, come back and take one more then they disappear. Save game reload and i can do it all over again!
Did you follow all the steps or do something different so I can try to recreate?

@@PriWapoyes i did lol - every time i save the game and go back to the location i have unlimited gold bars. Its lets me fill the inventory, sell them all, then once i go back i can lift like 2 more and theyre gone. I reload, go back and i can fill inventory again. I have no idea why but i can remember messing one of the steps up for sure

I'm only able to get 2 bars before it doesn't work no matter how many times I reload. Will try the other locations, though and see if that works. Thanks!

Can confirm it doesn't work as of June 4th /2024, PS5. Did everything over 7 different save files. Nothing worked, only spawned 1 gold bar.

Well the gold bar reappear after some hours of gameplay

Attempted on PC, but for some reason it's not working for me. I tried reloading my backup save game and followed the steps three times without success. I even followed the way he switched from first to third person view, but no luck 😔.

if ur on consle it only works on version 1.00 so u will have to re download the game but leave ur internet disconnected
How do you download it with no internet? Disc only?

I was only ever able to get two gold bars, but none past that. I suppose two is better than one.

Yeah, but you can go back every few in game days and get another one. They reappear like nose hair.
Another cool spot is the chest in Chez Porter's barn loft. You can score, save, reload and score over and over. Like $165 every save. Plus there's that ginseng garden right there

Didn’t work for me unfortunately. Im on a ps5 and noticed you’re playing on a pc so maybe this glitch only works on pc or maybe it’s already patched. Who knows, but at least I still got the one gold bar which is great

I did this! It worked, I rode to Saint Denis to sell at trapper and buy clothes and weapons. I reload today and Rockstar has taken my clothes and weapons back from me. Not only that but Saint Denis is now undiscovered on my map again (I suspected it didn’t save properly or something) so I went to do the glitch again but I still have no gold bar at Limpany. Wtf
You should have enabled autosave again after this glitch trick :)

Did anyone try this method recently? I tried multiple times at March 1 2024, I failed to get the second gold.

Didn't work for me
I was able to get 3, then they stopped respawning. I have saves, and have been going back and forth through them. I have the gold bar spawning behind the box, what do i do to make it keep respawning?

It still works 3/28/24 if you load and it don’t work reload again I’ve managed to grab 4 bars out of 17 loads

I didn't try this for third attempt but after two attempts you can open close open close the box and then save and reload the game for third gold bar
May be it will help you but the glitch is still working fine with two gold bars 👍

Ummm you just cracked me a bigger code. I did the first part and the pamphlet was gone so I went to just take the gold bar.. well it allows me to keep taking the gold bar and it won’t go away 😂😂😂

I did a few of these on my 2nd playthrough and I wasn't a fan. Does it make game easier, sure. Well, lemme just give you 1 piece of amazing advice... Please, don't do any exploits, I mean hidden features if it's your 1st time through.
Yup these glitches are open for everyone so it's your choice whether to exploit it or play it normally
Don’t work on PS5 had done exactly what’s said and never got the 2nd gold brick.
It’ll be easier to just do the treasure hunt where you got over 4 gold bars.

@@WhiteZombieUK well it definitely didn’t work here and I’ve did exactly what the guy did everything he said to do at exactly same time he posted, the extra gold don’t appear, I find it better with the gold hunt since you get up to 4 gold bricks ended with thousands of dollars if sold or put in camp.

I did it the first time and when i came back nothing was in the box?
For this glitch you must need the pamphlet in the box
@IngameMoments I had the pamphlet there but when I released the box was empty
it doesnt show up for me the locked box

I hate how killjoy gaming companies are. Glitches like this are fun ESPECIALLY IF IT ISN'T IN ONLINE MODE WHY BE A KILL JOY & GET RID OF IT IN THE NEXT UPDATE! YOU CAN'T EVEN SAVE PROGRESS WHILE USING CHEAT CODE. KNOWING ROCKSTAR FROM GTA VICE CITY THAT HAS ALWAYS BEEN AN OPTION.
