I can tell you why I like Greg so much! This guy is a true fisherman and he is a good person to watch and learn from! And he is very nice to other fisherman, I’ve seen him give others baits and teach them how to fish it, and he even rigged it up for a bank fisherman and gave him pointers on how to fish it! I have been watching him for about 3 years maybe a bit more! He is a very honest person!!!
What a great result for a day that felt so tough! Thanks for this, I’m still trying to learn all I can about Cayuga without having to drive the full 5 hours to get there. Bailey seems like such a nice guy too btw.
Greg, you had a great tournament, and trip home. Forr what you dealt with. The weather, broken baits, and the net. The handle coming off like a broom stick, was classic. 🤣 You alway's adjust, and that's what makes you the angler you are! 🙏 😎 🎣
Even if you didnt take 1st you always seem to finish in the top ten which is very respectable. Repping cali the right way! Your sportsmanship is admirable and video content is always amazing. Thank you for sharing GB
I have absolutely seen a time when just a blade change would.make a world of difference on getting bit on a spinner bait. Loving the content, keep it up!!
WOW the suspense! Congrats on the 6th Place finish! We were yelling at the TV when the net issues came up LOL It's weird how weather affects the location of the bass (the story of our lives!) Glad your confidence level came back up 👍 Thanks again for your videos - good luck on your next adventure 😊
Awesome job. You struggled with different obstacles but never lost your focus. Great job. Me, I would have thrown it in the water and taken up sewing. 😂😂.
What an awesome lake Greg. Incredible. Well done on the recovery from misery. I hate that one moment when optimism turns into…”…..I think the sky is falling….” LOL. Been there too many times!!!!
Did I mention this before? Think I may have...when I was little my Dad was a guide at my Granny and Gramps resort. The Zebco crew would come up and once invited my Dad to fish in the south. I think they went to Kentucky, Tennessee, and Florida in spring. My Dad came home with a bunch of spinnerbaits and I fished them that summer. Fell in love with how versatile they are. Still a go-to for me after all these years.
I'll tell ya, if it wasn't for the winters I'd be ready to move to NY by Cayuga. Just love your videos from there. Multiple years now. Love the CA videos but not a big California fan in general. Awesome stuff 👏
Greg, I've watched your kayak shows and now I just bought a pelican catch pwr 100 kayak. Planning to do what you do and have fun. Thanks for your shows.
For some reason I really enjoy the New York video better. It seems like the lakes are more beautiful and healthy. But New York winters are long so I guess it makes sense to live in California.
On the bite for practice, full bellies for the tournament. Reaction bait for not so hungry fishes' My daughter and her husband recently moved from Clearlake to Friendship NY just a little southwest of the finger lakes. Now I can't wait to visit them lol.
What a grind, I think most people would have given up, bird catches bigger fish lol, Net issues, surprised you didn’t use any scent stick. Awesome video!!! You keep teaching people even if you don’t think you do.
Great video. I love them all but prefer Our home water ones the most. Plan on tripping out to Cali and Florida in the next few years for some outings. Hopefully I’ll be out on Cayuga a lot if not this late summer next spring for sure in a Jackson Bite. Can’t wait
I’d love to fish that lake. Maybe next year. Just seen someone got the NY record for small mouth in Cayuga lake. I’d be drop shot fishing deep or Ned rigging deep. Another great video. Great content.
I might have tried the spinner bait and jig on those docks, especially the spinner bait. I'm a spinner bait kinda guy. Good showing though. Good luck in the next 1
Nice series!it was cool to watch you get bit whenever you got distracted for a second and changed the cadence.Beautiful back there,I'm sure it's tough to leave.thanks for taking us along
Great job salvaging another tournament. Top ten not bad at all. It appeared when the big ones bit you paused the spinner and let it flutter or slow down. Not sure if you noticed that. Anyway, thanks again for the best vids out there. Keep up the great work.
Love your passion for fishing, Greg. Been watching you for a long while. Keep up the great videos. Btw I know exactly what trailer you were throwing on that spinnerbait. But I understand you have to make your sponsors look good. Happy fishing!
Greg, The reason time flies when in NY is because winter is fast approaching! It just snowed on Whiteface mountain in the Adirondacks on June 18th. I hate it!
Theres always bass under and around docks so thats a good choice .A spinnerbait and a swimjig are my 2 confidence baits all year except winter they work non stop and if that doesn't work i go with a soft and hard jerkbait that works all year every month
That second or third fish you caught on the spinnerbait was chasing your blades. You set the hook when he hit the blades, that's why you hooked him from the under side but forward....,
Fish jumping off my board is my kryptonite. Then I started putting my net to the left side of the board. Happened only once since then and I catch mostly spotted bass which are famous for it.
Dope videos Greg -- Makes me want to take a trip up to Cayuga from NJ. Suggestion for you; on the bigger fish you catch in practice/fun fishing if you give us an estimate on weight/length it'd be cool and give some perspective! Sometimes its hard to tell what the size is on them compared to seeing in person. Thanks for putting out all this content for us!
Hey can you do another kayak set up video? I saw the one you had years ago. Looking to set one up similar. Maybe add in some differences between what you have now and the titan?
Grass flats are definitely my favorite to fish. I’ve caught over 50 bass outta one grass flat so far. Had an 80” bag from 630-1230 an they seemed smaller than what I normally catch
I just got the Slayer Max 10 - love it so far. Your videos definitely turned me on to Native Watercraft. Where did you get the seat risers for the Slayer Max 10? Another question - foot pegs or no foot pegs? Which do you prefer?
I have the Slayer 10 too. No foot pegs necessary since you're pedaling mostly. In skinny water you might paddle but for me, it's never long distances. My 2 cents
My brother and I name our bass size after naval sub/ship classes - attack subs and boomers for +5lbs or PT Boats (dinks), and destroyers and Cruisers. Read a lot of Tom Clancy in the 80s and 90s. That first fish was definitely a "boomer".
Can you do a video explaining yours/anyones setup? Like why you pair this rod with this lure/line. You personal opinion. Or maybe you think this works better with a light rod instead of medium heavy.
Great content bro. So I was curious you used to fish with a bunch of curados and now it looks like a bunch of revo stx reels just curious why the switch 🤔
Congrats on the finish in this derb. I would say it was a bit of a win considering you seemed to make good decisions during the tournament. Would you agree?
The best kayak channel on TH-cam. I can’t tell you why I like Greg so much, I just do.

Just love yours tournament videos, here in South Africa ours begin in August. June is the beginning of winter🇿🇦

Always love the New York fishing videos! It makes me want to travel from Georgia and fish there so badly!
Oh man. Big shout out to you Mr G and thank you for bringing us more content and tournaments. And can’t wait to see what’s next from cali. 👊🏽☀️
I grew up in Ithaca it’s so cool to see someone fish Cayuga! I love that lake❤️
Solid effort Greg. Your videos alone are enough to call a tournament successful.
Keep having fun and tight lines!

Just fished this place for the first time this spring. Fun lake.

Fun day on the water, man! Thanks for the shout 👊🏻👊🏻
Great job as always, Greg! NY looks unreal. You haven't missed anything in CA , except huge winds and triple digit heat.
Great job Greg! You have definitely shown what perseverance is all about! Congratulations on all your success now and in the future!
I've been rolling a white spinner baits in PNW and chatter baits...my PB day with those two baits.. good luck fishing!
Best tournament videos by a long shot, for any kayaker. Keep these tourney videos coming as they do help me depending on the season on what to use.
Awesome job. You struggled with different obstacles but never lost your focus. Great job. Me, I would have thrown it in the water and taken up sewing. 😂😂.
It was definitely an interesting day out there

Great stuff Greg-B. New York/Finger Lakes looks like a destination for myself near but distant future. Thanks man.
