I'm from the tribe of Judah
Am From PNG in the remote parts of highlands in lalibu.My ancestral story in my clan called Warena tells us that our ancestor was kind of a nomadic traveler he use to hide in caves and travel the mountains in the highlands carrying a stick with him. The story is told by our father's father and to us in now generations that this nomadic man came down from the mountain of ialibu in the southernhighlands and saw that the place was not owned by other tribes ..he then planted the stick into the ground which he carries around and marked this place has his own..and spoke only two different words one was when he planted the stick into the ground and said " eloi " and this stick later grew into a strange tree and the other word he spoke was" tema" when he sighted looking up the mountain. I never understand the story well but i then did some Research and found out the word "Tema" in hebrew means tree and the word "eloi " has God.This later reminded me in one of Abraham's story in the bible when Abraham planted a tree marking his territory and calling to the God most high to witness it.That is my thoughts on it 🙏.
What's confusing is referring to all of the descendants of Jacob's (Israel) sons who were all Israelites but not all Jews, who are supposed to be direct descendants of those who belonged to the tribe of Judah. Jacob had 12 sons and the tribes that came from them had different names. They were not all Jews just as many Jews today are converts which does not mean they are not Jewish, it only means they are not the descendants of the original people belonging to the tribe of Judah. I just find it confusing that the term Jew is broadly used as a label for a very diverse group of the descendants of 12 tribes of peoples. Please tell me if I am wrong because this has always been my understanding. Scripture doesn't say that the Jewish people will be restored but the children of Israel i.e. descendants of Jacob. Please offer clarity if you can.

Have the claims of the Igbo people been verified? I am curious because I am of Igbo descent as are many other Caribbean and Latin American people.
I can tell you friend that the Igbo people are of jewish ancestry. My rabbi comes from a long unbroken line of jewish tradition and he is an Igbo from east Nigeria.
They leave out the Caribbean

Papua New Guinea is one of the country as described in Isaiah 11:11 as the 'islands of the seas'. PNG is an island nation on the East. There are places (villages) in PNG that have Hebrew names (names of the 12 tribes).

Shallom I'm watching from p🎉ng and I think that the real people are not Jewish, they are Israelites and the holy war has started so they won't alliya back to Israel because its the end time now. The Apsotle Paul already found the lost tribes of Israel. His entire mission were to the Israelites that were no longer under the law. You wouldn't go to specific regions thousands of miles away to preach to non Israelites. Paul makes it very clear he was redeming those very cast off Israelites.

I watched videos of some people researching this one tribe from Borneo Islands which have almost the same traditions with the Jews and there are found to be the oldest tribe in the Islands regions that have traces from the age of the great immigration from northern Africa.
