John need a bit of help steering wheel on my 3008 has a slight movement back and forward towards me. Steering is fine and correct and true. Local mechanic I spoke too says he does nt think it's the steering rack but maybe there may be a bearing in the steering wheel it feels like somthing isn't as tight as it should be. Could you tell me if there is anything that could need tightening there. As I ve said steering is good and no play in that. Spoke to pergeot on phone and there answer is replace whole steering rack lol
I have a issue with the car horn on the 307 Peugeot. I have been told that I have to disconnect the battery first, for at least 30 minutes before removing the steering wheel. Is this correct ??
Not so easy to do in reality... He didn't show clip removal on back of wheel - in fact, he didn't really show anything. The wheel can be seized on the steering column as mine was and is a bugger to get off.
